Beast-World Warriors! (13/??) *Updates*

Moon Warrior

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone. These are my first cards, but I'm gonna keep updating this thread. Eventually when I get better I'll remake the first ones. I'll try to include some lore whenever I can, but I'm not THAT creative. Anyway, hope you like them. Please leave ratings and suggestions!

They prefer to live in heavily vegetated areas in close proximity to a water supply, however there have been some that live in plains or even mountains. They have some of the fastest, strongest soldiers and the smartest tacticians and leaders. Generally, other races that battle a Tigris either do not live to tell about it or are unable to fight ever again. Tigris warriors are trained from youth in the arts of combat and war. They are not a magically inclined race, but there are some Tigris who can harness magic. Most Tigris are the common orange color, but there are a few white Tigris, which are called "Highborn" among their kind, They believe they are superior to all races, including the common Tigris.

The Canir are a race of dogs, wolves, foxes, and lesser known jackals and coyotes. They are perhaps the most spread out and diverse race. Each specific species of Canir will prefer a different habitat, which is the cause of their widespread. Canir are the most versatile of the races, making good warriors, mercenaries, and even merchants. There exists a rare disease called Lycanthropy, infecting a small portion of the Canir race, which turns them into a merciless monster by moonlight. Lycanthropy was originally created by witches of the now extinct Humans. There are tales of other races infected with Lycanthropy, but such cases are extremely rare and often dismissed. Because of their widespread species, the Canir have no government, though most Canir generally side with each other in disputes, and if the dispute is between two Canir, they will duel or spar to prove their argument. There are very few Canir cities, as many live together in small, clustered villages. The Canir have never been an enemy or an ally to another race during wartime, and they are generally left alone. I think you may want to make more of the archetype so we can get a vibe of what the point of monsters like swordsmans' effects are for Samurai is interesting but his OCG is a little iffy points like:

When does he get the counters for each time hes in the grave? maybe it should be something along the lines of "when a "Tigris" monster is sent to the graveyard place one beast counter on this card"

Also the eff seems a little more hassle to get off than its worth unless its some sort of counter based archetype xD

Also "This effect cannot be activated again" is that once per duel? or while it remains face-up?

Nonetheless I love beast warrior cards though and the art is cool would love to see more to make a proper judgment on the archetype as a whole though ^_^

I'm making more. I've got plenty almost done, I just need effects for them.

I like the Synchro man :D but i dont think it really needs the pay 1000 bit seems a bit of overkill for that maybe lower the price a little remember JD can destroy a whole field for 1000 and he's not even hard to summon xD and also in the synchro's card effect you don't need "directly".

I like the idea with the Canir cards but the effects are a little iffy. Wanderers effects wording should be something like "While this card is the only monster you control increase the ATK..." And also is the warriors effect is unclear is it "this card cannot be destroyed by battle by a "Canir" monster" or by a "Canir" monsters effect? And i reckon you could probably up his attack a bit seeing as 1300 isn't really large enough to make the attack boost significant vs decks with just a base attack that is much higher. The first effect seems a little pointless though cause most of the time i doubt you'd be playing other Canir decks most of the time and if you were then he would be a bit of a sitting duck so maybe even just ditch that part entirely though then again like your Tigris archetype i guess the effects use may be more apparent when you have made more cards. Keep it up bro im interested to see more :D

Awesome new cards, dude. But...

Canir Pup is WAY too underpowered. With 300 attack points, I don't think it will have any impact, despite the fact it can attack directly.

However I really like Lizrus Paladin. It's a good card to have with you if you're up against Dark monsters. Which, most likely, you will be.

Yeah, it's UP. Mainly because it's a tuner for a more powerful monster that's still in the making.
But thanks! I'm glad you like them so far.

maybe you should focus on one race?

Well, what I've been doing is finding a ton of images. Then I'd make a bunch of cards depending on the pictures. I didn't want to focus on one race because that would get boring, but I may have to, because there's tons of tiger pictures but not as many of the others.

The one group I really want to see more is the Lizrus. It would be really cool if you made the effects benefit each group.
