Aesthetics (including Wording/Grammar, Picture, Name etc.) = 9/10
Creativity = 15/20
Balance = 16/30
Viability = 20/40

61% = C

Aesthetically speaking, this card is flawless. You have perfect grammar, a realistic set ID, a serial number, a fitting, high quality picture and a snappy name. The only place you drop marks in (and this is being very pedantic) is that you have no "(C) 1996 Kazuki Takahashi" clause, which is a product of using Yugico, in my eyes an inferior card generator (except for producing Xyz). In other words, you are virtually flawless in the department of aesthetics, which is highly commendable.

Creatively speaking, it is pretty good. You put a new spin on "Lonefire Summoning", the one-for-one, which has, it must be said, been a mainstay in many a top tier deck; with many cards in a similar vein (Substitoad et al.) being confined to the ban-list. Sure, it isn't a new concept, but it has been done well. Your 75% mark in this section is most certainly a solid one.

However, with balance, I feel you have overstepped the mark. The restriction at the end kills off quite a bit of what usability it has, preventing it playing a pivotal role in a decisive turn in a duel. In other words, it is disappointingly slow and leaves your newly summoned replacement vulnerable in the forthcoming turn. The "normal monster" restriction also hits it hard, making it situational in practically every top-tier deck, even those that run vanillas.

As for its viability, well, it looks to me that it sees limited use in a Gemini deck (the only viable decks that run Geminis probably have better options, as Neos Alius is the only one I can think of you'd want to use with this card, which is in itself outclassed by fantastic Hero support). Maybe it would be good in a Holy Pile of Random, Batman! or Monster Mash Beatdown build, but this is right at the bottom of the septic tank of builds. In a deck that suits it, it probably functions reasonably, but it certainly isn't going to set anything alight.

It's a very narrow pass, I'm afraid. Try to bump up its power.

I came here because I read this as "Vegetarianism". ._.

But since I'm already around, everything I say is going to focus more on how realistic/Yugioh-like something looks and less on playability, since I've been out of the game for too long. But for all my opinion is worth, the effect is interesting.:3
The "replace Normal Monster with same-level Effect" first sounded pretty good and it's balanced by the hand or Graveyard Summoning (as opposed to summoned from your Deck). In terms of playability, the second part may put a handicap on it since a level 4 is unlikely to survive on its own for too long and from what I understood, any Tribute or Special Summoning with the effect is out. I can see this working with an archetype that includes both stronger Normal monsters and Effect monsters, but can't really think of one that already exists.

I first thought that the image reminded me of a children's fantasy game, but on second thought, it looks pretty much like what you see in Yugioh.

So yeah, great image, realism and interesting, although slightly underpowered effect.
And it managed to grab my attention and I'm not a veggie and I never post here. wut.

7.5/10

"Tribute 1 Level 4 or lower Normal Monster you control; Special Summon 1 Effect Monster with the same Level from your hand or Graveyard. It cannot be used for a Summon during the turn this card was activated."

The card seems sort of balanced; although i can see some people taking advantage of this by summing op'd lvl 4 or lower effect Monsters. Maybe if you'd add "That Monsters cannot activate its effect the same turn you activate this card."

Overall, nice card graphics and effect 8.5/10

Suggestion: How bout if you also made a seperate card that Tributes Effect Monsters for Normal Monsters such as lvl 8's for Blue eyes, lvl 7 for Dark Magician, Red eyes, Lvl 6 for Summoned skull, etc... or just about any strong normal Monster; sort of like: "Tribute 1 Level 8 or lower Effect Monster you control......"

I think this could gain an awful lot of use in one of two ways:

1) Make it a Quickplay. Quickplays are fun, and with good timing can turn this -1 into a +0. Being able to use it on your opponent's End Phase is cool, and I don't think it breaks anything since both cards have to stay around for a turn, and you have to run Normals.

2) Remove the level restriction. This could make it an interesting search engine for monsters like The Creator that, perhaps, don't see enough play. Some fun decks might emerge from the concept.

If you do both, I'd prevent it attacking that turn too, to avoid Blue-Eyes direct + this = 6000+ direct damage instantly.
