Strider Tigerwolf
Lore: You can Special Summon this card from your hand by banishing 1 FIRE and 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard. You can Special Summon this card (from your Graveyard) by sending either 2 FIRE or 2 DARK monsters from your hand to the Graveyard. This card's attribute is also treated as FIRE. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can banish this face-up card until your next Standby Phase; Special Summon 1 Level 4 DARK or FIRE monster with 1500 ATK or higher from your Deck or Graveyard. "Scourging Beast from the Mountains" can only be banished by its own effect twice per duel. Do your thing RC!
Ghost_Image
Built in protection, along with easy set-up for Rank 4 Xyz monsters. Unique monster requirements (FIRE and DARK), which I like, and would have liked the same for the ability to summon from Graveyard and Banish zone. He is nearly impossible to kill, however, barring a Solemn or other negation ability of sorts, and should he be destroyed, you are only 2 cards away from causing more shenanigans. I would limit where he can summon monsters from (make it maybe deck or grave only), and not allow him to be able to SS himself from both the Grave and banish zone. (Maybe 1 or the other)
Strider Tigerwolf
Well I did him like this because of 2 reasons: Targets...only viable one is Trance Archfiend and he requires some destruction. Consistency...what kind of crappy deck runs both Darks AND Fires (inb4rekindlingNova) Special Summon limit...You can only Special Summon 1 of them at a time so it somewhat slows down how you can go into things and from where you can go into things. Design...it's in a sense a neutral +/-0 from either point of view. Banish 2, to get him, then banish him for another Summon or -2 from hand for a return + a Summon. In retrospect, he'd probably only +s in Dumps to the Graveyard by Infernities/Rekindling plays so you can decrease some hand advantage if you have a crappy hand and gives you some decent plays. Still gonna need some more input on others cuz frankly I can't think atm >_<
Ghost_Image
Well, I thought of it this way: banish on opponent's End Phase (if you're forced to banish him earlier because of bottomless/torrential/etc., that's fine), summon monster from deck like Flamvell Firedog (if you were forced to banish him earlier, hopefully you had backrow to keep the summoned monster safe). When he returns on your standby, immediately banish again for a new lvl4 from deck/grave, and boom, costless rank 4 of your choice, or you can normal summon a lvl 4 for a 1 card disigma/shock master. Strider Tigerwolf
Compared to the way wind-ups are playing, how atlanteans reap benefits, and how Pulsar is an instant sack/beater/revival beatstick that still flots, its actually a nice combo. But then again, comparing to those badly designed cards, it just isn't fair.

ihop
The summoning condition is really difficult so it wouldn't see play much anyway, but the card is way too good once it's out as it's basically a Wind-Up Rabbit on 2000 that also acts as a Monster Reborn every turn. Personally I feel a card that needs DARK and FIRE monsters is a bit sketchy anyway but if there was an easy way of summoning it the effect is way too good, so your best bet is to tone down the effect and the summoning conditions e.g. no FIRE monster needed but isn't Quick. Thails in this thread about his card and how it could potentially be broke...so I'm kinda conflicted on if I was right or wrong. .-. ihop
That card was broken too, it was the same sort of idea as yours and all I can say is that monsters with protective Quick effects just shouldn't exist at all. I mean that thing was like a mixture of Wind-Up Rabbit and Substitoad.
Strider Tigerwolf
Well alright. I think I have a few ideas for edits, which I'll be writing. This card is kinda entered in a contest also, so I'll let them have a say in it as is, while in here, I'll be re writing the effect on the lore.Edit: Monster cannot be Special Summoned from the Banished Zone now, and it can only be banished by its own effect twice per duel.
