The Royal House of Thulm (Archetype) (2/?)

The House of Thulm is a work in progress Archetype. The Archetype consists of mainly Psychic-Type DARK monsters. The archetype continues the Psychic-Type theme of manipulating Life Points, but takes it to new heights. Rather than cost, the House of Thulm reduces life points via effect. However, the reduction is not damage. Many support cards help to maintain your life points.

The House of Thulm is a fictional royal family that rules over the large fictional Kingdom of Thulmuntia. The members of the royal house, known as "Nobles", for the most part, don't present any supernatural abilities. The Nobles declare themselves the chosen people of God to justify their right to rule over the human Kingdom. Under their rule, they reap the Kingdom of its resources for the personal interest of the House, and the civilians of the Kingdom are subject to oppression and poverty life. Through the use of dark magic, the House employs many psychics brought from the underworld to guard their Kingdom. A folk legend exists among the oppressed people that one day a righteous man will stand up against the oppressive rule of the royal family and defeat them.

When this card is removed from the field, Special Summon it (your opponent cannot respond to this effect). Afterward, half your Life Points. You cannot activate this effect if you have 500 or less Life Points. This face-up card’s effect cannot be negated and this card cannot be Tributed.

it can not be tributed but can be used for xyz and or synchro
so that may make it OP'ed but you gotta keep halfing but there are cards to stop/reverse/reduce the effect
soul absorbtion is one example

Yes, it is possible to abuse (nothing off the top of my head. Don't understand how soul absorbtion can abuse this card). However, its effect is a mandatory effect (meaning you lose half your life points every time this card leaves the field, which can be abused by your opponent), and the life points halved isn't a cost or damage, so it limits abuse. Its very hard to tech this card in other decks, so I don't think its OP at all. Adding 2nd card.

soul absorption
Each time a card(s) is banish, increase your Life Points by 500 points for each card banish.
you can keep gaining major life points so halvin means jack

you are going to keep banishing stuff as madman effect needs its banish so going to be run in a banish sort of deck

2nd card
the gain on both effect is way to much need to alter it a tad

Why would you use Soul Absorption though? Its not a good card, and it doesn't support the deck at all (unless you're running cosmos for some weird reason).

I must say, I am quite impressed. For it's presentation I LOVE THEM, but that's not point here. What we really need to look at is if they're really balanced and to that I say..

Ehh..?

Madman really has no problems, but Iron Fist kinda rubs me the wrong way. He is pretty easy to get out, being level 4, and has a hugely destructive force. He is really OP'd and both effects need to be cut back on a little. At least, for me it seems that way.

8/10
