R.Surraco
Well, here's my first card attempt... So... what do you think, people? Is this plausible? EDIT: Made into an actual type and altered slightly its effects
-Griffin
Well, using what you've dubbed the 'Dreadful 6': First, there are two situations when you can use this card's effect that need to be distinguished: 1) You Summon the card, then activate it. 2) You already had the card from last turn when you activated it, then activate it. It's got some serious Starting Condition problems. It's basically useless unless you're against a Machine-Type Deck. If a player thinks/knows you have it, it can negatively affect good play by making them not go for their cool boss monsters. It's not really luck-based, except for the Starting Conditions thing, fine there. Doesn't touch things outside the duel, so fine there. As for player-player interaction, situation 1) basically provides none, but situation 2) is usually a result of your opponent not breaching your defenses. Having low DEF helps here, but being so defended against Machines makes this lose its interaction against Machine-Decks (see: Starting Condition). As for Lame Duck, it's fine there since it encourages your opponent to kill it quickly and 'free' their monsters. And for Slippery Slope, it initially works against Slippery Slope by being stronger when your opponent has stronger cards, but if situation 2) keeps occurring, it's probably a sign of slippery slope making it easy to defend against a weakened player. The real big problem here is that it's targeting a small section of Decks, making it's design horribly crippled by Starting Condition problems.
*sigh* It's the same trouble all over again: Trying to not make it too overpowered usually comes to bite me in the deck. This is the main trouble when I base my cards on characters from stories I'm making... Let's see then: Xander is a mutant/magician hybrid that has both incredible human-like abilities and magical powers. He's a mutant and mutants are mostly monsters or similar(which would make them Beast or Beast-Warrior; his father might be the latter, with DARK attribute). In fact, he looks like more like a human because his mother is a magical girl (magical beings might be Spellcaster-type or Fairy-type; his mother is more likely to be the later, with LIGHT attribute), although he looks girlish because his genes are still a bit screwed up. He can either be a lightning bruiser or a technopath that can alter some magical powers and... GOT IT. Let's give him a Type Change ability instead!

Once per turn, you can change this card's attribute and type into one of the following:

LIGHT/Fairy-Type: This card's DEF will be increased by 1000. This card cannot be targeted by card effects except from Equip Cards. If this card would be destroyed; you can destroy a card equipped to this card instead.
DARK/Beast-Warrior-Type: This card's ATK will be increased by 1000. This card inflicts Piercing Damage. Send a card equipped to this card to the graveyard: you can attack once again this turn.

Is it fine with you?
