mido9
More like "Make it so inconsistent it's horrible",since imo it would be broken if it was consistent and got high atk.

ihop
The trouble is that it will almost always be game anyway before it gets its 3rd counter.

[/quote] No, The Creator God of Light, Horakhty is an example of something so inconsistent it is horrible. This thing can be braught out fairly easilly in a dedicated deck. The inconsistent part would be its attack (however, considering that you only need 6 reptiles in your grave in order for it to be able to kill just about anything it isn't such a big inconstancy). Dementuo
The support for this card, by itself, is fine (Snake Rain, Reptile Icarus). The problem with this card is that its archetype is undersupported. Only a couple of Venom cards were made, and they were all rather bad. They lacked real synergy and never got any additional support.
Stan Alda
This is my fault, isn't it? In the fast-paced meta we use today, this wouldn't last too long, but once you get it going, your opponent will likely eat toxic death. I think the anti-effect clause adds some consistency. With the overall weakness of the other "Venom" monsters, getting Reptiles in the Graveyard is fairly easy. "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes" has to be in the Graveyard to summon "Vennominaga" anyway, you'll likely have a 3000+ ATK/DEF Vennominaga to begin with.
