richie123
Lore: You can tribute three monsters from your field to Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Special Summoned, this card gains 700 ATK points for each Warrior type Monster card in your Graveyard. Once per turn banish 1 card from your Graveyard and pay 500 Life Points; your opponent randomly discards 1 card from their hand.
Alpakha
Your ocg is well... pretty good, but numbers are written out so three should be 3. There's not much to say about this card, except it's way under powered. The banish a card so your opponent discards i think should be: Once per turn you can banish 1 card from your Graveyard to send one random card from your oppoent's hand to the Graveyard. Also, make the atk gain higher, maybe 800-900. richie123
I was thinking it'd be OP if I increased the ATK gain. Assuming you're running a Warrior deck, and assuming you wouldn't always get this guy early on, there would already be 1-2 Warrior type monsters in your Graveyard. Then, once you tribute 3 more, you have 4-5. Let's assume its 4. 4*700=2800. 2800+900 is 3700. I'd say that's a fairly decent attack for a 3 tribute monster. Do you know any 2 tribute monsters with more than 3000 ATK and no drawbacks? No, I think he'd be pretty OP if I increased the ATK gain.
Alpakha
You realize how slow he is right, sure he's strong if you pull him off but no one would use him. That's why obelisk isn't exactly used so often.... Honest, i wouldn't even try to continue this effect, i would make it a synchro or xyz (of course with a different level). Tributing is slow unless you have a dedicated deck, and for him to work you would need at least 4-5 warriors inn your deck that doesn't stop the flow of your tributing. richie123
I disagree. I think he'd be perfect, PERFECT in a Six Samurai deck. He wouldn't stop the flow at all, and with a Six Samurai deck it would be easy to get three monsters to bring him out.
Alpakha
would he be necessary in a 6sam deck or slow it down, would he need his own dedicated deck, would there be no space for it. If six sam or any swarming deck needed a big 3 trib boss monster, wouldn't you think they would have added it. Look at obelisk, almost unstoppable once you bring him out and that's not to hard; those type of decks where you have a 3 trib monster are too inconsistent. If you did run it in six sam, they would probably just win using their nomral methods (beatdown, field control, etc., synchro). Did you think about that?.... richie123
Alright, alright. But still, an ATK gain increase wouldn't be the solution to the problem, would it? No, a change of method of summoning. Thank you for your feedback.
Alpakha
You know i hinted the that it needs a new summoning method in my first post..... (and of course i'm not gonna tell you where)
