newhat
You have to rewrite the battle-protection effect. It is impossible for this card to be destroyed by battle unless Damage Calculation is conducted. If it gets killed by an 1800 attacker on the first turn, you probably achieved nothing. But it is good for robbing your opponent of options. You could back it up with Dimensional Prisons and Safe Zones, and banish from your Graveyard each turn to make a lockdown. Does the opponent have to discard in order to use a card or effect, or does it happen after the card or effect is activated? I wanna know what happens if the opponent has nothing to discard. newhat
What I meant by the "battle protection" effect is that the stage of the Damage Step in which Damage Calculation is conducted must be entered to determine whether Monmoe is destroyed by battle or not. Destroying the other monster "without Damage Calculation" isn't possible. The other effect is clear now. I'll take a crack at Yavisu's OCG. "When an opponent's monster is Summoned face-up or flipped face-up: Banish 1 monster with the same Level or Rank from your Graveyard; the effects of the monster that was Summoned or flipped face-up are negated and it is treated as a Normal Monster." Either way it's pretty good. Not amazing given the cost, but it screws up monster effects. Mim'Ra Soma is similar to Phantom of Chaos. The second effect is very strong, but since this card can inflict Battle Damage, the first effect creates a wacky OTK with Gale Dogra and Dr. Overkill. Scrooge
Thank you very much Newhat. I tweaked Monmoe's effect yet again. I think it is worded much better now. As for Yavisu, I simply copied your own format over, since it seemed perfect. Regarding Mim'Ra Soma, I will have to think about how I should tweak it's effect.
