Andinator
Hey guys, I have several decks below, but I wasn't sure which one to bring to locals tomorrow. So I figured I'd post the decklist and get feedback on it. T.G. Stun Monsters: 13 3x T.G. Rush Rhino 3x T.G. Warwolf 1x T.G. Striker 1x T.G. Cyber Magician 2x Wind-up Rabbit 2x Ape Fighter 2x Thunder King Rai-Oh Spells: 12 2x Pot of Duality 1x Pot of Avarice 1x Mind Control 2x Forbidden Chalice 2x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Heavy Storm 1x Book of Moon 1x Monster Reborn 1x Dark Hole Traps: 17 3x TG1-EM1 2x Solemn Warning 1x Solemn Judgment 2x Bottomless 2x Torrential Tribute 2x Dimensional Prison 3x Horn of the Phantom Beast 2x Starlight Road Comments: I decided not to run skill drain version because in my locals even the little kids have holo'd out hero decks. My reasoning behind the 3 TG1s is that the deck had 3 main advantages over other decks. 1. Horn of the Phantom Beast, 2. Skill Drain Barbaros beat, and 3. TG1. And in this format, Skill Drain isn't as potent, as Darkworlds and Heroes can very easily play around it. So My only other trump card is TG1. Cyber Magician helps to make that more live. The Wind-Up Rabbits have been really nice, being able to dodget torrentials, D-Prisons, etc. Also, Striker + Wind-Up Rabbit = Naturia Beast, which is a horn target! Masked Hero Monsters: 8 1x Elemental Hero Stratos 3x Elemental Hero Bubbleman 1x Elemental Hero Ocean 2x Effect Veiler 1x Fossil Dyna Pachelo Spells:20 2x Pot of Duality 3x Miracle Fusion 3x Mask Change 2x E - Emergency Call 2x A Hero Lives 1x Reinforcments of the Army 3x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Heavy Storm 1x Book of Moon 1x Monster Reborn 1x Dark Hole Traps: 12 1x Hero Signal 2x Torrential Tribute 1x Solemn Judgment 2x Solemn Warning 2x Bottomless Trap Hole 3x Call of the Haunted 1x Dimensional Prison Comments: Honestly I really don't like playing hero beat. While I'm fine with stun decks, I just never get alius and gemini spark at the same time, unless i do some super obvious play like RotA for an Alius. The deck just hates me. The Fossil Dyna is in there because its an out to a first turn shock master that they won't see coming. Water Synchro Monsters: 21 3x Swap Frog 2x Treeborn Frog 1x Ronintoadin 1x Spore 1x Lonefire Blossom 1x Dandylion 1x Naturia Rosewhip 1x Hedge Guard 2x Debris Dragon 1x Snowman Eater 2x Thunder King 2x Effect Veiler 1x Caius 1x Dark Dust Spirit 1x Gorz Spells: 1x Pot of Avarice 1x Mind Control 2x Enemy Controller 3x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Heavy Storm 1x Book of Moon 1x Monster Reborn 1x Dark Hole 1x Foolish Burial 1x One for One Traps: 2x Solemn Warning 1x Spiritual Water Art - Aoi 1x Compulsory Evacuation Device Comments: Plants by themself are a bit lackluster imo. Many people still play the reduced plant engine, which for the life of me I can't understand. With only 3 plants, Its much harder for me to utilize spores effect. Of course, the plants I did add were not soley for that sake, although a queen of thorns in the extra deck is. Rosewhip is here because she's a level 3 tuner, and honestly I could care less what tuner I used. I though about Tytannial, since even if i drew into it, I'm running a plant engine. Hedge Guard has been really good, since treeborn always provides me with a target, and it protects my formulas. I had just recently taken out Junk Synchrons for Debris. My idea was that debris had more targets, and could easily make level 8's using treeborn. The Snowman Eater and Thunder Kings made the final cut because I needed some strong non-tuners since we no longer have Tengu. I don't think I'm gonna play my dimensional Karakuri's this week (has some terrible match-ups), despite trolling with Return from the D.D. after they System Down me. ihop
TG Stun is amazing but shouldn't play EM1 at all, and shouldn't play Cyber Magician but should play Photon Sabre Tiger as that card is quite amazing. It should also be playing Lance to aid in getting over things for Horn, Ape Fighter etc.
