Geargias AREN'T all about OTKing. I went up against a few Geargias at Regionals and none of them OTK'd. HEROes also don't have to OTK. They can do just fine without OTKing.

I said they don't [i]have[/i] to OTK nor do they [i]have[/i] to stop other OTKs. I'm only arguing that there are viable decks that don't OTK.

So Gravekeepers, who prevent access to the Graveyard, a resource used by any OTK existing in this format, aren't stopping OTKs. Right.

Every Deck should be prepared (to an extent) to stop OTK's because that's really the same premises as controlling your opponents plays, just at a faster pace. To think that any Deck would not have to have some sort of way to slow down an OTK (note, every Deck has cards like this in the form of Torrential, Mirror Force, etc.) is silly logic and contradicts the game as a whole because it should never ideally end in one turn.

Geargia [i]can[/i] OTK, but more often than not will choose not to do so, reason being that if they try to go all-out and don't swing for game, they're left with very little resources and it's hard to regroup from that.
