However, a good number of them would probably be sided just in case your opponent is using an Xyz-dominant deck. Here they are: the Xyz Munchers! Please rate, comment, and review. [img]http://i.imgur.com/4JBVe.jpg[/img] Lore: Once per turn, you can discard 1 "Xyz Muncher" monster from your hand to select 1 monster on the field, and reduce its level by 2 and its Atk by 500. If an Xyz monster was selected with this effect, then destroy it and inflict 500 damage to your opponent. [img]http://i.imgur.com/vxTLR.jpg[/img] Lore: If this card is in your hand when an Xyz monster activates its effect, you can send this card from your hand to the graveyard to negate the activation and effect of that monster's effect, and destroy it. [img]http://i.imgur.com/dmmVL.jpg[/img] When this card is summoned, you can special summon 1 "Xyz Muncher" monster from your hand. Then, you can destroy 1 monster on the field whose level is equal to that of the special summoned monster's OR you can destroy 1 Xyz monster on the field. [img]http://i.imgur.com/KwJEm.jpg[/img] Lore: Once per opponent's turn, when an Xyz monster declares an attack, you can detach 1 Xyz material from that card, then negate the attack and end the battle phase. This card cannot declare an attack during a turn in which you activate this effect. As long as this card is attached to an Xyz monster, that monster's effect(s) are negated and its owner takes 500 damage during each of their end phases. During your standby phase, you can return this card that is attached to an Xyz monster card to your side of the field. Sora1499 Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 11, 2012 Ok, time to address your review. I'll go point by point: 1. The name really isn't relevant to the cards themselves. I like it, and if you don't, then it really doesn't make a difference to me. 2. Archer's burn effect gives the player more motivation to use the effect in its entirety. I don't see why that's so bad, so burn effect stays. 3. Good point... I'll edit it then. 4. Ok, I'll fix the OCG. 5. I don't see how Guardian is OP'd. It's a low ATK monster that can be run over by almost anything. If you have an Xyz on the field, then odds are you've got another monster there as well If you don't, then sorry charlie, but no attack today! The point of its effect is to safeguard the other monsters from Xyz should your opponent summon one despite their effects and buy time to bring out another muncher with a better anti-xyz effect. 6. That's the point of Illusionist: to grab your opponent's Xyz to use in combos or as tribute fodder. However, I do see your point. I'll add a clause that makes the controlled monster unable to attack. 7. Lookout is the name for one who scans the horizon for enemies. Name stays. 8. Your opponent could just tribute the Xyz monster to get rid of it, which in turn gets rid of Magician, the only tuner in the set. I don't think it's OP'd. 9. Warden is a high leveled monster, but I suppose the added Water part of its name really isn't necessary, so I'll take it out. 10. King is extremely powerful, as it can decimate your opponent's field and annihilate combos. I had to add in that clause to make it remotely balanced. 11. I'm not a stickler for OCG, but I do see your point. And there will only be Dark and Light muncher synchs. I wanted to do what you said and make one for each attribute: 3 for syncsh and 3 for main deck monsters, but I couldn't find any other decent images. 12. The point of these cards is to shut down your opponent's Xyz, not hamper your own Xyz summoning abilities. Thanks for your review, I'll make edits shortly.
