Just to let you know, I'm not too up to date with the new OCG, so sorry if anything's wrong (and don't forget to correct me). I'm trying to get back into it really, and I might make a 'Darkborg' archetype set soon, as well.[/background]
newhat
It's far too defensive to be useful. You can bring it out with Mystic Tomato and defend it with Torrential Tributes, but it kills itself after 3 Spells or Traps and it puts those Spells and Traps back in the Deck. Except in rare situations, Spirit Reaper would be a better choice than this card for both offense and defense. Maybe you can swap its stats with Weapon Change and attack through Mirror Force? But it loses ATK, and even 2500 is not hard to run over. Or maybe you can bring it out with Mystic Tomato for an Xyz Summon with Gagaga Magician, or with Call of the Haunted for Inferno Reckless Summon, and if your opponent uses Torrential Tribute Darkborg Assassin won't die. But since no Rank 7 monsters protect themselves from Torrential Tribute, the best you could do is leave a row of defensive walls that die after 3 opposing Spells or Traps. Fanged Dragon
How about upping its ATK and/or DEF? Increasing ATK would make it more useful offensively and give a better payoff in the end.
newhat
The problem with an ATK boost is that it ceases to be a target for Mystic Tomato or UFOroid and becomes a 2-Tribute monster. You'd have to add some Special Summon method.
