It puts pressure on the opponent by making your monsters huge and letting them just run right over their bosses (Dropping this after opponent drops Gorz is hilarious). The pressure alone is enough to make them consider MSTing it, since they have a higher chance of losing with it out, but they are put under even more pressure by letting you search at least a Veiler when it dies, meaning you can keep up the incredible control that Prophecies are already capable of.
