Let me know what you guys think of them and if there's anything I can do to improve them, please let me know. Sora1499 Posted October 29, 2012 Report Share Posted October 29, 2012 I'll go through each card 1 by 1. I take it you're a new member, so I'll be gentle. 1. Anubis is incredibly broken. You can resurrect its materials and summon another Anubis. Then, you can use the 3rd anubis to resurrect 2 of the materials and go catastor. So, for a -3 synchro summon, you get 4 cards, all of which are snazzy beaters, which is a +1. Then, you can massacre any remote chance your opponent has of rebounding from this with its reset effect. Fixes: Get rid of the first effect. And the second effect. Just give this card a clean slate. 2. Basher's a lot more fair. It rewards you for running Necrovalley with an invincible double-attack beater for the hefty price of 2 monsters. I personally think its a bit too slow, and I'd rather run visionary. Fixes: I'd make it a level 6 and nix the first effect, and have its double-attack ability activate only if you have "Necrovalley". Then it'd see some use. 3. Slayer is way too situational. One one hand, its theoretically useless. On the other, it's broken against chaos dragons, dragunities, hieratics, etc. Fixes: I really can't recommend any fixes without completely changing the card's effect. It doesn't really pertain to gravekeepers. 4. Oracle is nice, except that its technically useless. Add in the clause that's in chief. At that point, its be an easy-summon +1, but I think its fair given the state of the meta. Fixes: Add in the clause, "While this card is face-up on the field: Cards in your graveyard are unaffected by Necrovalley." 5. So its a one-sided dark hole and a heavy storm for the price of 1 card? I'll go over them by card.[list] [*]Anubis cannot be Normal Summoned as he is a Synchro Monster. That means his first effect will never go off. Also, even if you could, its effect would be negated by Necrovalley. It's majorly broken in that whenever it is destroyed, your opponent immediately loses his hand and Graveyard, for no reason. Badly desgiend. 2/10 cause I like the art. [*]The Basher is a Level 7 [2 Tribute] monster who serves as nothing more than a beater. Also, due to the way his effect is worded, he wouldn't get a power boost from Necrovalley. Not terrible in design just not practical. [*]The Dragon Slayer has random dragon hate. Also the OCG is off. Other than that, it serves no purpose in a Gravekeeper's Deck. 2/10 [*]Oracle would never get her effect off as it conflicts with Necrovalley, which would negate it. Other than that her second effect is decent but won't work under Necrovalley. 4/10 cause of the second effect. [*]Slasher is beyond broken. He's an easy set that clears your opponent's field with no restriction, cost or anything. It would be run in literally every deck. It's Raigeki and Harpies Feather Duster in one and on steroids. Terribly designed card 0/10. [/list] Overall your cards are either badly designed and overpowered or unusable. It's okay though, cause you'll get better over time. Also, I know about Anubis's effect and I just now noticed that I put Normal Summon instead of Synchro Summon, so I fixed it. I'll put up the revisions when I can.
