[b]Lore: [/b]While you control this face-up card, its DEF is treated as 2300. If this card is targeted for an attack while Set and flipped face-up, this effect is not applied until the end of the Battle Phase. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can Set this face-up card and if you do: Target 1 Level 3 or lower Winged Beast-Type monster from your Graveyard; add that target to your hand.

So this is something unique. The idea came, basically, from the fact that it seems to be wielding two shields, so I wanted to imply that it could shift between both to adapt to different styles of battle. That's what I took from the image, at least. I'd like to think it's balanced. 1900 allows it defense against things like Thunder King, but it doesn't have the pop effect that Snowman Eater does. Having 2300 DEF isn't something you can pull off too easily with it, either, seeing as you'd have to either Special Summon it, or Set it first, and then allow it to be attacked (and survive) that battle.

[i]Rulings-wise[/i], the way it's meant to work is, while it's face-down, let's say it's targeted for an attack by a 'Thunder King Rai-Oh', and flipped face-up. Battle would happen, and only its normal DEF would be applied. Once the battle has resolved, if it's still on the field at the end of the Battle Phase, it would go to 2300. Being able to set it makes it so things like Mirror Force (or other cards that would target a face-up monster/card, can't affect it as easily and offers some decent synergy if you can find ways to make it work effectively.

An interesting defender, easy to summon, and with a nice added bonus for returning tuners and such. Not overpowered, I really like it and might use it in my deck. 9/10 (also where did you find this picture?)

Haha thanks; there's an album I use on Photobucket that has plenty of pictures designed for making cards and such. I saw the picture and figured it would be great to make a card of this nature.
