Synchronized
Anyway, I've wanted to build this Deck for the longest time but the lack of wanting to throw hundreds of dollars at Konami and/or its playerbase to get all of the necessary tools prevented me from doing so. Now that everything's all printed and whatnot, I've finally decided to build it, despite that it's not as good as it was last format due to hindered consistency. I'm excited though, because I love being able to throw silly techs into things for the hell of it and I'm hoping to do some fun stuff with this once I get a solid build established. [Monsters] [1] Gorz the Emissary of Darkness [3] Sabersaurus [3] Kabazauls [3] Hydrogeddon [2] Rescue Rabbit [2] Tour Guide from the Underworld [2] Thunder King Rai-Oh [1] Neo-Spacian Grand Mole [1] Sangan [1] Night Assailant [1] Tsukuyomi [1] Genex Ally Birdman [Spells] [2] Mystical Space Typhoon [2] Dimensional Fissure [1] Heavy Storm [1] Monster Reborn [1] Dark Hole [1] Book of Moon [1] Mind Control [1] Pot of Avarice [1] Pot of Duality [1] Gold Sarcophagus [Traps] [2] Compulsory Evacuation Device [2] Solemn Warning [2] Bottomless Trap Hole [2] Torrential Tribute [1] Starlight Road [1] Solemn Judgment --- [Side Deck] [2] Maxx "C" [2] Snowman Eater [2] Kinetic Soldier [2] Nobleman of Crossout [2] System Down [2] Trap Stun [1] Cyber Dragon [1] Mystical Space Typhoon [1] Chimeratech Fortress Dragon --- [Extra Deck] [2] Evolzar Laggia [1] Evolzar Dolkka [1] Number 39: Utopia [1] Number C39: Utopia Ray [1] Number 16: Shock Master [1] Number 32: Shark Drake [1] Photon Papilloperative [1] Gem-Knight Pearl [1] Number 17: Leviathan Dragon [1] Leviair the Sea Dragon [1] Wind-Up Zenmaines [1] Stardust Dragon [1] Gaia Knight the Force of Earth --- POINTS TO ADDRESS - This is my first go-round with this, and since I prefer not to net-deck, a lot of it is just a rough, thrown together draft because I'm not sure what to cut and what to add. - I do plan on adding 2 Forbidden Lance; I just need to pick them up. Once I get them, I'll certainly make some necessary changes to accommodate for it. - Another thing I'd like to add is Fiendish Chain, I think, but that depends really on how necessary it proves to be. Compulse is a great card this format. - Big fan of Hydrogeddon; I prefer it to Guaiba in that it can attack the turn you bring it out to swing for some extra damage, and it makes stuff like Bahamut Shark and Abyss Serpent or whatever it's called much more playable, giving the Deck more options. ihop
I'd say you'd want to play 3 Lance if you had them, and I also think Guaiba is waaay better than Hydro but that's up to you. -1 Mole -1 Tsukoyomi -1 Birdman (why?) -1 Duality -1 Sarc -1 Mind Control +3 Lance +1 Spirit Reaper +2 Dimensional Prison Also there's no point playing Hydro or Guaiba if you're not playing Lance.
Dropping Tsuk, Duality, and Birdman I can definitely agree with. Really was just some random stuff. I'm not sure I want to go 3 Lance though; I'd much rather go 2 Lance/1 Reaper. Also, Mind Control is an amazing card this format and I can't figure out at all why so many people seem to be hating on it. It's an instant Xyz/Synchro most of the time, and gets around so many things. Like I said I'm working on getting Lances as we speak.
ihop
When you play Birdman Mind Control is understandable but otherwise all it does is give you an extra level 4 and you'd rather make Laggia than Shock Maste anyway.
Synchronized
Yeah but even then, I can take utopia and overlay it, I can take a level 3 and overlay with Sangan/TGU, etc.
