gimmepie
Okay this card is pretty powerful and is quite probably OP. But it is a good idea and after seeing the art online I had to make it. Basically this is for when your opponent summons a beatstick you cannot even hope to beat with your current hand or the attack of monsters in your deck. When you're opponent summons their monster you can special summon a monster from your deck, give it a power boost till the end-phase and temporarily ward of your opponents attack. Then next turn you can use its effect to take out the beatstick or something. It is still vulnerable to effects and traps so it should be reasonably balanced. As always I'm open to suggestions, con/crit and rates. Effect: You can only activate this card when your opponent special summons a monster. Special summon a monster from your deck with a level lower than your opponents monster. Until the end-phase: It gains 1000 ATK and has its effect negated. Sora1499
The design is an interesting +0, and I like how it negates the effect of the summoned monster to prevent major abuse, but the +1000 boost seems like a bit much just for an easy +0 summon that can bring out who knows what? All in all, the card is fair and balanced, although I'd cut out the 1k boost and add a clause that says, "You can only activate 1 'Overload Summon' per turn". After that it's fine. gimmepie
I'm not sure about losing the +1K since it has to be a lower level and will likely still get destroyed very easily without it (making this card kinda pointless) but will definitely add the other clause in.
