Lore:
When this card is Normal Summoned: Add 1 "The Dragoon's" monster from your Deck to your hand. If you add "The Dragoon's Bow - Shana" this way: You can Special Summon "The Dragoon's Bow - Shana" from your hand. This card cannot be used for the Summon of a monster except a "Dragoon" monster.

Dart is the most prominent of the characters throughout the LoD series. He's the one you start off with as his childhood friend is abducted from his second home village of Seles. Shana is taken to Helena Prison for some unknown reason under the orders of Emperor Dole and so he sets out on a quest to save her, unknowingly getting himself into something far more sinister than he thought. Dart in game play is always active. You cannot inter-exchange him for another character and only disembarks from his position once in the entire game, on disk 4 and as such, I wanted to make him someone you HAVE to run in a yugioh deck for full power. As such, much like in the game where he is later accompanied by several of his companions, his yugioh effect searches his companions yet Shana is special to him and as such the both of them tend to have a specified effect for the 2. In the meantime, he is also on a quest to regain revenge against the Black Monster, a creature of legend that is both myth and reality intertwined and constantly takes the lives of many in order to kill the Moon Child every 108 years. His original home town, Neet, was destroyed by the creature and that was when he was separated from both his mother and father. Within the ruins of the village, however, he finds his dad's memento and that's where his journey for revenge truly began.

Lore:
While "The Dragoon's Blade - Dart" or "The Dragoon's Lance - Albert" is face-up on the field: This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once, while this card is face-up on the field and another face-up "The Dragoon's" monster is targetted for an attack: You can make this card the attack target instead and, if you do, this card gains 500 ATK during that battle only. This card cannot be used for the Summon of a monster except a "Dragoon" monster.

Leader of the 1st Knighthood of Basil, and best friend of both Dart and King Albert, Lavitz is the first character who joins Dart and does so when attempting to break out of Helena Prison. Within the class of steel and blood, Lavitz befriends Dart and aids him in finding Shana and escaping from the place. Throughout his role, he embarks a sense of loyalty, friendship, and bravery, key qualities in becoming a Knight of Basil, but he also holds a deep grudge against one particular person, the man who took the life of his father and once a Knight of the Second Order of Basil. Revenge is something both he and Dart have in common.

This card cannot be used for the Summon of a monster except a "Dragoon" monster.

With a background unknown, Shana is only the childhood friend of Dart, but deeper than skin, she hides a mysterious power that brings about question of who she really is. She is the third character that embarks with Dart and company. During Dart's absence, she has grown up, becoming a trained archer and learning several key survival traits and remedies, all in the hopes that one day she could aid Dart in his journey, wherever they may lead them. But even Dart questions the power within her...and it slowly becomes the cause for the search of answers.

This card cannot be used for the Summon of a monster except a "Dragoon" monster.

And expert swordswoman with an eerie background, Rose was the one who saved Dart from the Green Tusked Dragon, Feybrand early in the game. She joins the characters as the fourth member of the party and awakens the power of the Dragoon within Dart on their second meeting. She holds many answers but raises many questions as well. How does she know so much about what is going on? Where did she get her power? And most importantly who is she really?

This card cannot be used for the Summon of a monster except a "Dragoon" monster.

After defeating the Green Tusked Dragon, and completing several tasks, it seems as if Basil is headed for a time of peace. That is when the characters head for a small carnival in the town of Lohan, a commercial place where several goods can be found. Dart and Haschel meet when Dart enlists in a Fighting Arena as a competitor for sport, but years before that, the duo had met and parted ways. Now, they return and perhaps as a sign of faith, both begin to learn that there's a strange connection between them, but both hold unspoken for most of the game. He is the master of the Rouge School of Martial Arts in his village and when King Albert is abducted by the Imperial Sandora and confined to Helena Prison, he decides to lend his iron fist to the group, and joins them.

During the fray at Helena Prison, a powerful heirloom is taken from him, and in retaliation, Lavitz lunges at the very attacker with all his might. Unfortunately, Lavitz losses his life in the process and the captor leaves immediately.Albert is taken to Seles undercover and joins the group both in memory of his now late friend, and as an aid to end the war between Sandora and Basil. He replaces Lavitz in the party, and uses all of Lavitz attacks and special abilities, in his own way of course.

Nice. Pretty good OCG from what I seen at first glance. The only thing is the pictures themselves. Have you tried looking for better ones on DeviantArt or anywhere else?
Right now 7/10. I'll rate even higher with better pics.
Also...this is just a personal opinion on my part, but I still think the card maker here is a lot more realistic looking then on Yugico.

I prefer the Yugico card maker because it's easier to managa, looks an awful lot better, and when you print the cards it actually does look like the Yugioh cards, plus the text is a little bit clearer to see.

That aside, no I have not looked for better pics...though I'm sure there are, and I shall be updating in a few!

Hardly anyone comments here anymore. I've only been getting 1-2 comments on mine every month or 2...sometimes 3. Still, I always bump my thread to the 1st page when it reaches a different one.
Any luck finding new pics yet?

Since i've only heard of the game and haven't played it, i'll just go by what I see.

Dart -
Good Searcher with an added bonus if you decide to grab a specific card. Decent Stats. Good card for main focus :)

Lavitz -
Searchable by Dart and he's pretty good as a first turn card as well as that "Protector" effect that shifts the attack to him and buffs him up for doing so. Pretty cool.

Shana -
So ,the Life Point effect is fine, but that 2nd effect seems pretty OP'd. You can target 1 card on the field which means you can use it on her as well and it cannot be destroyed or removed from the field, so basically just use the effect on her take the battle damage first turn and switch it to defense mode for a permanent wall. There might be a reason for that, but that sounds way to powerful.

Rose -
After seeing her info, i see now why she gets the "Dragoon Spirit" cards. She can also get over Stardust if there is another "The Dragoon" monster, but not being too powerful for an effect like that. That's fine.

Haschel -
Much better than Karate Man i'll tell you that lol. Also a good starting card just like Lavitz. I guess i'll have to wait for the Memory Spell/Trap cards to be shown until i can talk about that

Albert -
Don't even need to explain how good he is.

Meru - Don't mess with Meru lol (i know i wouldn't want to)

Kongol - Goblin Attack Force / Lyla (Well that's what i compared it to when i first saw it. I'd say lower the attack by 100 but you probably have your reasons. It's good, but i think it's a bit too powerful (at least at 2300). Sure it's only Once while he's face-up on the field, but then again there can be other copies of the dude in hand (but, still you may have your reason for this)

Miranda - Seems like the opposite of Shana at first glance. Burn instead of LP gain. As well as the related "leaving the field" effect that Shana has as well. The second effect can be used on Dart so that he can be reused again and that's really cool.

Good Monsters (I'd like to see the others, but i want to space out the replies). Only wish Shana didn't have an effect like that.

Thanks for the review! Also, updated Shana's effect so it only targets "Dragoon" monsters.
i guess the real problem i had with her effect is the part of it that says "cannot be removed from the field". It's one thing to not be destroyed by cards, but the fact it can't leave the field just defeats the purpose of not being destroyed by card effects

If you can see what I mean? :)

The reason I did that is because there are cards that say "send" instead of "destroy" and such and I wanted an absolute protection from removal. Well not it's more "specific" where as Miranda's effect is more "generic". I'll be updating with a few more cards in just a moment.

a better way to word it then would be "that target cannot be destroyed or sent to the Graveyard (by battle or card effects)" so that the effect you intend to have still exists but you dont have an invincible wall that cant be compulsed or grand moled or anything at all.

i understand that its only a monster. but its still an invincible wall that if you change to defense mode protects your life points completely from battle damage? the only comparable cards that currently exist are yubel series and they have very high costs to stay on the field (not to mention theyre only protected from battle), while the selected monster really doesnt.
