Haze-Beast Support

They're new, but whatever, I been playing them for a while and they can pull off amazing combos, but can't do much more once you used them. Then they're just sitting in the grave. Unless you got a Spinx or Haze-Glory. So, I made these. Griffin & Phoenix because both are a part of Greek mythology, since all the Haze monsters have been Greek so far.
2 or more Level 6 FIRE monsters (max. 5)
This card gains effects based on the number of Xyz Materials it has. You can activate each of these effects once per turn.
• 2 or more: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to add 1 "Haze-Beast" monster from your Graveyard or your Deck to your hand.
•4 or more: During either player's turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material form this card to negate the activation of a card effect that activates in the hand or Graveyard.
Wow, I haven't posted a card in a while >.<

*Griff is pretty fricken poiwerful and would probably be run in Haze Beasts at 2. Peryton -> discard this -> 3 mat basilisk. Awesome. It's basically s chian dog for Haze Beasts that isn't quite as abusable. So, not bad, really.
*Pheanx is a pseudo-Ptolemys (without the bounce, of course) that doesn't clog up the grave for Grips, so it may be run. It also gives the deck a thing that it lacks, save for Peryton: good search AND recycle power. Its 4-mat effect is freaking awesome, and a helluva lot more incentive to get this out with 4 mats than Basilisk. I feel like you can pump up its ATK a bit more, to about 2600, to make it a bit more usable. Otherwise, Basilisk would outclass this in 90% of situations. I, as a Haze-Beast user, would run it at 1 in the extra, maybe 2.

So jah, not a bad job senor Kvn. Me gusta

I'd like griff better if it was banished after leaving the field if resurrected (retaining the once per turn clause), but it's just a chain dog for haze-beasts that can dump itself, nothing to worry about.

Edit: Just realized that it said 'Haze Cards', including pillar and glory. It'd be more usable and overall fair if you changed 'Haze cards' to 'FIRE monsters', cuz Haze-Beasts tech in laval lancelord and firedog.

When it comes to Griff, it is a pretty nice card. Good all around stats, gives a slightly situational extra material for xyz summons and can be used to get other haze beasts out if you lack the spell or trap so that you don't get stuck. However, it seems a bit too much that the 2 Haze cards you need can be anything in addition to that the special summon is from the graveyard.
One thing I would change about it though, which makes it kinda break the archetype theme, is that it doesn't have the "This face-up card cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects." clause which all other non-xyz monsters of this archetype has.

Haze-Beast Pheanx seems quite good all around, but for some reason I disslike the 2 material detach effect (probably because it seems a bit too powerful with an anything search effect, but eh). The 4, detach effect is very nice and should help out haze-beasts alot.

Forgot about that, thanks. I'll edit it now.
