Gachi Gachi alternatives

Whenever I have the chance to make a rank 2, I go for gachi 90% of the time. It is time for us to end gachi gachi's reign of tyranny, and open up a new door of rank 2 Xyzing! (shout from audience) "Sora, go home, you're drunk!" Shut up, audience guy. Now, here they are:

I don't know a whole terrible lot about the current meta, but based on what I do know of how the game is progressing effect-wise and such the only one I can -really- see being used is either Ani as a stall tactic before a combo, or Arthrocaster. I actually like Arthrocaster a lot personally, honestly he'd probably be the only one I use out of these and MAYBE Bishounen Boy as a last resort, if I have nothing else.

Whoopsie, I glanced over that one by accident ^^: I actually like that one quite a bit too, although I don't know much about the strength of 2 star cards that are currently used. That +1 is rather nice though, including the recycle you get along with it. Wouldn't that -technically- make it +2?

Free reshuffles and draws are always good I like that one

Also, I think Ojama's would like Ani (With "Ojama Country" reversing the ATK and using her effect to get a free direct attack when you don't want to just deal a little bit of damage)

I also like how she can be used as a wall too (I play Gusto, so if this existed, I would have a new card to Xyz for )

Returning to the deck is not usually considered a plus, as you're not likely to draw into it later on. But rabbit is broken with avarice. The average 2-star has about 500-1000 ATK, but the most spammable 2-stars in the game (shineball and diva) have 500 ATK and 200 ATK respectively.

I don't know between Gachi and Phoenix (and elf for prophecies) its hard to see any of these being really useful. The petal lady might be fun to partner with phoenix but she wouldn't really drop a monsters attack points substantially. And while I do like the thought of Arthocaster he just seems to weak to sustain himself, unlike Laggia that would have the same eff.

Ani can tank forever, that's good enough.

The Materials attached to Dying Petals probably won't be strong enough for it to see use as a problem-solver, but it combos with cards that need only certain Types/Attributes in the Graveyard, like Naturia Pineapple.

Arthrocaster could be good for stalling, but it's the first effect I care about. I can imagine repurposing the old [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Rapid-Fire_Magician"]Rapid-Fire[/url] Burn Deck for it. If it were a Spellcaster it would be a lovely way to burn off 2 used Batels.

The fact that you can't control other monsters with Bishounen Boy makes it unusable for OTKs but it's still pretty good at 2400 off two Ronintoadins.
