A quick shot at some decent (?) Pokemon cards

So yeah, just a little set I'm working on right now, I've got around 70 cards made, but not all of them are properly filled with text yet so I'll probably only be posting one or two of them just for interest's sake.

So first up are the meat of the set, the main monsters. They all come under the "Evigon" archetype, but are divided into two further subcategories. The first one is the Pokemon games' pseudo-legendary evolution lines and looks like the below cards:

Like their in-game counterparts, these monsters are powerful and generally have powerful effects, as well as boasting high stats. In card form, all of the pseudo-legendary final Evigon evolutions have trigger effects that can activate one of two abilities.

The second subcategory of main monsters are evolutionary lines that, in-game, are quite powerful but not exactly on the same level as the pseudo-legendaries:

These monsters have lower levels and stats, but are still quite powerful once fully "evolved". The abilities of the final forms of these monsters generally only have one ability.

There are also monsters that belong to this group but can split off into other, alternate forms. So far there's only one of these planned out:

As the alternate form isn't considered an "Evigon" monster, it is harder to play and therefore has upgraded abilities to match. These cards purely depend on the luck of the draw; cards that allow you to search for other "Evigon" cards don't include these forms in their range.

The next series of cards are of what I have named "Exelgon" cards, synchros (and some fusions) of the legendary Pokemon in the games:

As you can see, due to their status as legendary Pokemon they are very powerful. Unfortunately I have not yet been able to think of effects for them, so for now they just remain as incomplete beatsticks.

And last up are the Spell and Trap cards:

Like the "Exelgon" monsters, I haven't had a lot of time to think of effects for these cards. The two posted are a couple that were done, but many others still remain blank.

So this is a very quick preview of something I've been working on. I know my OCG isn't the best, so any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

And of course, none of this art is my work. All rights for the images I used belong to their respective artists.
