Well, since it's my first fanfiction, please rate it and give some suggestion :D (well, almost all the cards in this fanfic are not in the TCG and OCG but you can rate them also.)

Chapter 1: Prologue

"Well, if you continue to make reckless moves, you will lose this duel."

"You're just bluffing! I can beat you now!"

He just sighed as I draw a card. His eyes were cold and fierce but at the same time hopes and wishes dances through it, which is just normal for a signer of the Crimson Dragon.

"My turn!" I said as I looked at my hand. Yes! I told to myself. The cards that can help me turn this duel upside down were on my hands. I could feel it, the win was brewing to my side. I smiled as I turned to the guy in blue jacket, with gold marks drawn to his face.

"Junk Warrior can't defend you anymore." I said as I looked at his eyes. "I will show you that I can beat you without the help of someone."

"Well, you're just being a reckless, Yusuke." He grumbled. "There's nothing that you can do without the help of your friends."

"But--" I muttered as I choose the right words."--I know I can do it. Even without their help, I can do anything as long as I believe!"

He glared at me with those sharp eyes. The wind's brewing, the dueling ground trembled so hard that the set cards and face-up monsters on the field shook. I never felt this feeling before. It's like I'm facing a god.

"Then why did you went back to this era, my era?!" He shouted as the thunder roared. "You do have a reason on the first place, don't you?"

I gritted my teeth. Well, I'd always been scolded by almost everyone from my era which seemed really normal and common for me. But from a person from the past with a god-like presence, forget it, you're most likely going to piss your pants.

"Let's stop this conversation!" I said as I readied myself. The rain started to fall and I almost left the duel as I started getting wet. But thanks to the constant glaring Yusei was throwing at me, I regained my insanity.

"Well, let's finish this duel!"

"Then let it happen." He said as he stood up firmly. "Defeat me and I'm going to accept your ways."

Yusei's life points were in 900 while mine were on 1200. I got 3 cards in my hand, 2 set traps on the field and a monster named "Masked Hero" in defense position. Yusei got Junk Warrior in attack mode with attack of 2300 and 1 trap on his own field. He got 3 cards on his hands also. This is tough, I thought to myself, I always got a bad feeling whenever Yusei got some face-down cards on his spell and trap zone. Well, if defeating Yusei is the answer to my questions, then I have to make a move.

"I'm activating my trap card." I gestured my right hand down to the right face down card infront of me, which opened quickly. "Call of the Haunted."

"Call of the Haunted, huh?" Yusei uttered. "It lets you special summon 1 monster from the graveyard unto your field in attack position."

"Since you know already the effect of this card," I said as I searched my graveyard. "then I don't have to explain it."

He just simply nodded.

"Come back to the field," I raised my hand as the raindrops splashed through my palms. "if you don't mind getting wet, Leonino!"

A small black hole with some magician-symbols-stuffs circling it appeared on the center of my field. A small lion cub with red fur covering him with the golden mane slightly spiked appeared as the black hole disappeared like a dust. And on its right side, a circle plate appeared with the numbers 800 on the center, indicating its attack points. Underneath the attack points are four stars drawn neatly.

"A level 4 monster and a level 1 tuner monster." Yusei took a stance. "Are you planning to synchro summon a level 4 synchro monster?"

"What are you talking about?" I said as I showed him a card. "Not yet! Special summon a level-5 monster from my hand, Blazing Heart Girl!"

As I placed the card on my duel disk, another black hole appeared and a girl in kimono appeared. She opened her eyes and placed her arms on her chest and a flame appeared inside of it. The circle plat appeared on her right side, with 900 for her attack points and five stars for her level.

"I can special summon her if there's a face-up 'Cuore del Leone' on my side of the field." I blurted out.

"Are you joking?" He said as he pointed to my field. "You don't have any monsters on your field with a name 'Cuore del Leone', so how come you special summoned that?"

"Well, there's a certain effect activated a while ago." I smiled as I gestured my left hand to Leonino. "His effect activates, his name can be treated as "Cuore del Leone" as long as I control a face-up tuner monster, which is my old-pal, Masked Man."

"Oh, I see." Yusei smiled. "Now show me your ways, Yusuke!"

"Yeah, and it starts now!" I raised my hands once again, where my destiny pushing its way against the rain, I could feel my victory. "I'm tuning my level 3 Leonino with my level 5 Blazing Heart Girl!"

Blazing Heart Girl jumped into the air, pushing her way against the rain. She illuminated and turned to five green rings lining up neatly. Leonino growled a viscious roar and jumped into the air too, while turning into three little stars. The three stars passed through the rings as a beam of light enveloped the whole process.

"Show me the way where the fiery sensations turn to a great power! Synchro Summon! FIght on the battlefield, Cuore del Leone!"

As the beam of light exploded, a red lion appeared with its mane mainly made up of yellowish fire, claws of gold and eyes blazing in agony. From its right side, a circle plate appeared with 2500 for its attack and eight stars for its level. As soon as it landed on the field, it growled a really shattering roar.

"Synchro Summon?" Yusei muttered as he looked amazed. "Cuore del Leone?"

I nodded but I saw Yusei gesturing on his face-down card, which sent me a shriek. But to think of it, I got a face-down trap card which can negate an activation of a trap card that would destroy a monster on my field, meaning that my Cuore Del Leone's safe for now.

"Reverse card open." His face-down trap card flipped, showing a very familiar picture.

"Limit Reverse?" I asked Yusei, knowing a simple trap card could even turn all things upside down. "But which monster?"

"Well, as long as it has an attack equal to or lower than 1000, then I can special summon it up."

I closed my eyes as a bright light covered his whole duel disk, very bright that could even blind me instantly.

"I special summon Steam Synchron from my graveyard!"

I opened my eyes as the bright light faded away. In front of him, on the left side of Junk Warrior, stood 'Steam Synchron' in attack mode, with atk of 600 and a level of 3. Which means...

"During my opponent's main phase, I can synchro summon using this card," Yusei looked straightly to my eyes, telling me to watch carefully. "as a synchro material monster."

I just stared at him as he maneuvered the field. Steam Synchron turned to 3 green rings floating in the air and his Junk Warrior turning to five small stars. I could feel his ace card rising, facing my ace card on an all-out battle. The five stars entered the three rings and a beam of light passed through the rings.

"I'm tuning my level 5 Junk Warrior and my level 3 Steam Synchron," He murmured as the beam of light started to explode.
"Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Take flight, Stardust Dragon!"

The beam of light exploded and a mighty dragon appeared, signalling the start of the true battle!

...So! Here I am, your first reviewer!

The main problem here is when you change from past tense to present tense, switching back and forth... while not changing scenes. Sometimes it seems like you're telling me about an event that happened to you, other times, it's like you're telling me AS IT HAPPENS!

...Oh, you want a review about the actual story? I found it a slight cliche, because you happen to be dueling a world champion duelist. Also, you happen to be winning... and Yusei's acting a lot more like Jack.

I can't really see WHY you're dueling, or really any actual plot, except for hints that you came from a different time, like past... or future???

But seriously, I'd like to see a bit plot development, because I don't actually SEE the plot, or really any trace of it. It's just... a duel against a world famous duelist that your probably going to win and then Yusei's gonna go screaming about how he got cheated and he accepts your ways and you proceed to go and whip every other duelist who ever made a name for himself and wait what the heck am I reading? -Yeah, this isn't the best approach at a fanfic.

well...since it's my first time writing a fanfic, well..I'm going to admit that It was a little bit rushed,..I used to write stories using first point of view and second point of view so if you're likely telling me to write a story using third-person, well, It will be disastrous...But I'm rewriting it though..
But thanks to the review :D
