mjm8787
Don't know if these are realistic cards or balanced, I read about cards that are broken and tried to make these somewhat fair. We play Yugioh together sometimes when I'm visiting he's 15 I'm 25. I'm planning to go get these printed as fake cards and give them to him for christmas for us to use or as a joke with his friends. I'm going to try to get these printed in the next week or two and am interested in comments or suggestions. The picture I took from his room is from like 2-3 years ago when he played baseball thanks. Your deck is then shuffled. Or 2) Discard one Ball Card from your hand to your graveyard to make your life points unaffected.) Originally I had it that if any monster on your side of the field was sent to the graveyard... but then thought that was too powerful. But now he can use the 1st effect to help get ball spell cards only once. What if I make it you can take 2 ball cards from your deck to your hand seems more fair a price for taking battle damage but now I'm thinking it's too good for the opponent who could do lots of damage. [attachment=35861:do nothing joe.JPG] (If this card is in face up attack position on the field no Ball cards can be removed from the field during the same turn they are set.) [attachment=35862:curve ball.JPG] (Baseball Joe must be in face up attack position to set this card. If he is in the graveyard pay 300 life points to set this card. Equip this card to one face up monster on the field. That monster gains 500 ATK. Any monster equipped with this card cannot decrease an appointments life points as a result of battle. Battle Damage is calculated normally. If this card is sent from the field to the graveyard and Baseball Joe is on the field destroy Baseball Joe.) [attachment=35863:slow ball.JPG] (Baseball Joe must be in face up attack position to set this card. If he is in the graveyard pay 300 life points to set this card. Equip this card to one face up monster on the field. That monster gains 500 ATK. Any monster in attack position cannot be destroyed by a monster equipped with this card. Battle damage is calculated normally. If this card is sent from the field to the graveyard and Baseball Joe is on the field destroy Baseball Joe.) [attachment=35864:sticky ball.JPG] (Baseball Joe must be in face up attack position to set this card. If he is in the graveyard pay 300 life points to set this card. Equip this card to one face up monster on the field. While equipped that monster gains 300 DEF and looses 500 ATK. If a monster equipped with this card is sent to the graveyard as a result of battle, this card is transferred to the attacking monster. This card is transferred only once.) [attachment=35865:disco ball.JPG] (This card cannot be set unless Baseball Joe is in face up attack position. If he is in the graveyard pay 300 life points to set this card. This card last for 2 turns + 1 turn for each Joe Card on the field. While this card is on the field no monster can change their battle position except by this or another cards effect. During your main phase say "Disco likes to dance." Then every face up monster must change their current battle position. If you do not say the quote during your main phase pay 500 life points and destroy this card.) [attachment=35866:Star power of the minus ball.JPG] (Baseball Joe must be in attack position to set this card. If he is in the graveyard pay 300 life points to set this card. This card last 2 of your turns + 1 turn for each Joe card on the field. The ATK of each face up monster is decreased by 200 x their level. If this card is sent from the field to the graveyard as a result of a spell or trap card and Baseball Joe is on the field destroy Baseball Joe.) [attachment=35867:do nothing joe rock.JPG] (This card cannot be played unless The Magical Do-Nothing-Joe is in face up attack position on the field. If he is in your graveyard pay 300 life points to special summon him to the field. This card last for 2 turns + 1 turn from each Joe monsters on the field. No monsters can declare an attack. Each player pays 100 life points during their Main Phase. If The Magical Do-Nothing-Joe is sent from the field to the graveyard destroy this card.) One thing I tried to do to make the cards even was make them have a gain and a loss to use. Like baseball joe must be in attack position to use any of the ball spell cards, therefor risking taking life points as his atk is 0. I thought about this and thought that this might be too much of an advantage to the other player who can attack with a high attack monster and do alot of damage. On the flip side he can set many baseballs at once leveling the field of high atk monsters and there are also regular cards that can negate attacks or increase life points as well. One Idea I just had was making his atk 1000 or 700 to reduce damage taken to life points but then add an effect that "Baseball joe cant attack" or for laughs "baseball joe cannot attack a monster with a lower ATK them himself."
