Synchronized
First of all, this is my favorite archetype. I'm determined to make them work as I love the premise behind them and almost every card in the archetype is brilliantly designed (at least the monsters), with awesome art. This has been testing well so far; really only hurt by Macro but what isn't? Monsters 3 : Heraldic Beast Aberconway 3 : Heraldic Beast Leo 3 : Heraldic Beast Basilisk 3 : Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress 3 : Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter 2 : Heraldic Beast Eale 2 : Card Trooper 1 : Heraldic Beast Twin-Head Eagle 1 : Ehren, Lightsworn Monk 3 : Advanced Heraldry Art 3 : Mystical Space Typhoon 3 : Solar Recharge 2 : Reborn Heraldry 1 : Mind Control 1 : Dark Hole 1 : Monster Reborn 1 : Heavy Storm 1 : Foolish Burial 1 : Charge of the Light Brigade 2 : Solemn Warning 2 : Torrential Tribute 1 : Solemn Judgment --- Just a few points to touch on: - Mystical Space Typhoon is an absolute necessity @ 3. Macro Cosmos, Necrovalley, and Dimensional Fissure absolutely destroy this Deck and make it near useless. Even if you don't always need 3, it's safe to go that route. - The Lightsworn engine has worked well so far, and I've thrown Ehren in because I think it's a really good meta call against Geargia and things along those lines; so far it's worked well. It slams Gravekeeper's and Frog Monarchs too, so you can't really go wrong with it. Plus it's another Recharge/Charge target. - It's best to keep the Trap line-up small here because you're milling so much that you don't want to waste the draws you would get on Traps. Having the Warnings and Torrentials allow you to get around bigger monsters so there's that. - Deck brought out Lightning Plover, Terrorfang, and Leo in one turn. The fact that Leo doesn't miss timing even when milled by Trooper/Charge/Recharge makes it such a good card. I hardly even need to Summon it most of the time. CommanderVolt
Pretty neat, although i like the divine wind build personally. No Summoner Monk? It also pitches you lyla's to get s/t removal while hitting rank 4s. and is useful for pitching and ditching abercon and leo while making Xyz plays. [/quote] Haven't found it necessary. I still have to play-test with it a lot more, so I'll get a better idea of it once I've had the opportunity to play more. I don't like Mist Valley Falcon etc. so I'm not going to bother going into that build because I find the Lightsworn engine makes it much faster, even if it's not as consistent. The potential to just go off is there if you get lucky enough with the mills. Monk definitely sounds like a decent idea though; I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'll have to try it; it can grab Leo too, which is another neat plus because Leo would stay on the field and at the same time, when I use it for an Xyz, I still get the search. CommanderVolt
Falcon is a bit too slow, its mostly neat stuff like Zephy and Birdman, and tengu making Plover easier to grab, while also having some synchro reach with a random teched Toprunner. Im not too sure what you'd want to take out for the monks, Im sure it works just fine without it either way. and yes, keeping dem cards with Leo is <3 Also, your ex deck? Sora1499
If you're running THAT many targets its good to max out the Reborn Heraldry. I personally run Jain in place of Trooper so I can drop JD, but that's probably subject to change. I'd max out the Eale and drop the Basilisk to 2: you don't need 3. Jain is good but JD is just going to be a sacky topdeck at best and I'd rather not do that when this Deck is pretty consistent if you can get even 2 Heraldic Beasts in the Graveyard. Sora1499
JD wins games: JD, then go advanced art, and you can deal over 5k damage without using normal summon. I personally like it, but our builds are probably really different.
