b0b3rt
Looking for your opinion, YCM. As of right now I've got three choices: HERO Beat/Bubblebeat, Fenrir, and Dragon Drive/Chaos Dragons. Also need side deck advice. Expecting a heavy presence for the following decks: Rabbit (mostly macro), Mermatlanteans, Agents, Geargia/Machina, possibly some Inzektors. Obviously a bunch of rogue decks running around. None of these decks have a real problem with Rabbit builds, so I'm mostly concerned with Atlanteans and Agents. Also strongly considering Trap Stun over Decree in Dragons because it doesn't die to MST/Spark/whatever. Zauls
If you're mostly scared of Agents and/or Meranteans then I would go for HERO beat. It has the best matchup against those out of all of your decks. It also happens to have good Geargia and Rabbit matchups. Only problem is the Inzektor matchup, but you can side for that. HERO is also the most consistent, which is important at a regional. In terms of the build, I would be inclined to take out the Bubbleman for an Evocator Chevalier. It is a RotA + Gem Spark target and makes Nova Master as well as being a 1900 beater.
b0b3rt
Something to consider, certainly. Just noticed I have both Veiler and Skill Drain in the side... feel like it might be worth keeping both? Any other suggestions for the side? Zauls
Don't side Veiler. The deck generally doesn't like running hand traps. Just side Skill Drain and Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror cos your Inzektor matchup is so bad. Also I would side another Super Poly over mb a Nobleman, since Super Poly hits loads of decks and Nobleman hits Geargia and that's pretty much it. After you've done that, take out the Soul Drains and add in 2 Fossil Dyna and a Neo-Spacian Grand Mole. You don't need to worry about hand traps so Soul Drain is useless. Also Dark Worlds will not be an issue, especially with the Shadow Mirrors. Fossil Dyna is amazing against Wind-ups and Grand Mole is amazing against Agents and any deck that makes big things you have trouble getting over. Also great against Geargia. b0b3rt
Soul Drain isn't for hand-traps (wouldn't work anyways, given that they activate in the hand). It's for Mermails/Atlanteans/Dark Worlds and it also hurts Chaos Dragons.
Zauls
Whoops, kinda had a brain fail there and forgot what Soul Drain did. I would still definitely suggest Grand Mole and another Super Poly though. That's 2 cards you need to take out, so I would probably take out 1 of the Soul Drains anyway. Then perhaps the System Down since you have enough Geargia hate as it is and its a good matchup as well.
