Locals Report (HERO Beat)

Decide to test out the HERO Beat build I plan to take to regionals (see Deck section for deck list, except I forgot Chevalier so I ran 1 Bubbleman instead). Maybe 25 people here today. If I see this kind of Rabbit representation at regionals I'll be pretty happy.

Round 1 (vs. Dino Rabbit)

Game 1
I bring out T-King turn 1 and he doesn't draw any answers. Crashes with Sabersaurus but I just Reborn it and take game a couple turns later.

Game 2
I draw Stratos + Super Poly + Reborn + Miracle. Needless to say I take it quickly.

Round 2 (vs. Dino Rabbit)

Game 1
He goes first and brings out Laggia. I don't draw any solid answers to it and he whittles away at my resources.

Game 2
Heroes do what they do best.

Game 3
I draw no monsters except Honest and lose.

Round 3 (vs. Mermatlanteans)

Game 1
I get dumped on by Moulinglacia.

Game 2
I draw Soul Drain turn 1, set it and Torrential, summon T-King. He dumps two Marksmen for Megalo, hoping to clear my backrow, and I flip Soul Drain causing him to -2. He can't come back from that.

Game 3
I open with E-Call, Double Miracle, and Double Spark. He isn't able to kill me quickly enough to stop Shining from running him over.

Round 4 (vs. Macro Rabbit)

Game 1
I take the game with a well-timed Super Poly on Zenmaines.

Game 2
Neither of us draws well and it goes into a grind game which I eventually lose.

Game 3
He misreads me as having Honest in hand and makes Dolkka to run over Alius. I Dark Hole next turn and sweep it up.

Round 5 (vs. Madolche [undefeated])

Game 1
An early Warning swings the game in my favor and he can't search out the Field Spell. I take it shortly after.

Game 2
He draws no monsters (terrible luck, considering the deck) and loses in three turns.

4-1

I'm first in Swiss (having been paired up rounds 3 and 4, then beating the only undefeated). We split top 8 for 3 Astral Packs each. I pull Firedog, Armory, and Mask Change. Out of 9 Astral packs that I've won I've pulled 4 Hidden Armory. Ugh.
