God Eater [1/?]

Alright. People of YCM, help me out here. I've lost track of yugioh since 2011-ish, and I'm out on the loop as far as the newer archetypes, card, deck and play styles. I'd like to make this as realistic as possible to hypothetically run against the now-a-day competitive decks. I am asking for OCG errors and such. Constructive criticism on all parts of the card and the like.

Here's the first card. He's a big boy.

Once per turn, you can attach 1 "Aragami" or "God Eater" monster you control to this card as Xyz Material. During your Battle Phase, this card gains an additional attack for each Xyz Material attached to this card. Whenever this card attacks, you can remove 1 Xyz Material from this card and destroy 1 card on the field. This card cannot attack directly the turn this effect is activated.[/spoiler]
