Althemia
If your card is broken as all hell and would be banned in even Traditional, it's gonna get locked. This was supposed to be blatantly obvious, but since I've seen quite a few people "rebelling" / claiming to not know of this rule then I'm just going to spell out for you. Althemia
An expansion on this, since some members do not seem to understand why such a rule is put in place. If you have made a card which is quite obviously rather broken and/or absurd, then we should have the right to lock it. And why? Because of several factors.A ) Bork bork cards generate little to no discussion: Let's look at it this way. You make your fun little card and upload it to http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/forum/9-realistic-cards-single-cards/. Cool, neat, good on you. But the idea of the topics in this section is to generate discussion on the usefulness of a card and how the card would be good and/or bad for the game. Make a broken card would simply generate a lot of comments with different wordings of "Oh, this is a broken card and should never exist". This is not a discussion, this is simply a goddamn +1 fest. You literally have to read one person's post before realizing that every post is going to be exactly the same.B ) It shows you have no knowledge of what you are making: This is something that I've wanted to address for a while, but never actually really had the time or effort to do so. But now, I finally do! So yay! In this section, you are expected to keep up to date with the latest metagame and/or latest cards. These things, as well as your knowledge of any other cards in the game, should be taken into heavy consideration when designing a card. When it is quite obvious that you have not taken into account that other cards other than your own exist in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game and shows that your ability in designing and/or balancing cards is quite flawed, you can expect to see your topic get locked.I feel like I'm forgetting something else, but shrug. Also, another thing to note. When a moderator locks a topic of yours for being poorly designed now, it's going to come with a paragraph or so explaining why it's badly designed. idk, not giving an explanation seemed a bit harsh when I look back at it so I'm going to just errata that in real quick.
