The Stringed - Unique Swarm Archetype

I decided that I wanted to base an archetype around special summoning to your opponents side of the field as well as swarming your own field and this is the result. The main idea is to use the effects of these monsters to special summon themselves to your opponents side of the field causing them to fill their field as well as giving you bonus effects and simultaneously using the effects of Mistress and the secondary effects of The Stringed monsters to swarm your field for Xyz summons. They are also designed to have some compatibility with Spellbooks.

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned from the deck or graveyard. When this card is normal summoned you can select up to two "The Stringed" monsters your opponent controls and take control of them, then: Destroy this card.

Effect: Once per turn, during your main phase, you can Special Summon this card to your opponents side of the field. If this card is summoned by this effect it cannot be tributed or change it's battle position and cannot be used as Synchro or Xyz except for the summon of a "The Stringed" monster. As long as it remains face up on the field the original owner of this card gains 1000 LP during each of their stand-bye phases. When a monster is Special Summoned to your opponents side of the field you can Special Summon this card from your hand.

Effect: Once per turn, during your main phase, you can special summon this card to your opponents side of the field. If this card is summoned by this effect it cannot be tributed or change it's battle position and cannot be used as Synchro or Xyz except for the summon of a "The Stringed" monster. When this card is Special Summoned the original owner of this card can add one "The Stringed" monster from their deck to their hand. When a monster is special summoned to your opponents side of the field: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.

Effect: Once per turn, during your main phase, you can Special Summon this card to your opponents side of the field. If this card is summoned by this effect it cannot be tributed or change it's battle position and cannot be used as Synchro or Xyz except for the summon of a "The Stringed" monster. When this card is Special Summoned the controller of this card activates one of these effects
*Destroy one card you control
*If you control no other cards: Discard one card from your hand.
When a monster is Special Summoned to your opponents side of the field you can Normal Summon this card from your hand.

Effect: Once per turn, during your main phase, you can Special Summon this card to your opponents side of the field. If this card is summoned by this effect it cannot be tributed or change it's battle position and cannot be used as Synchro or Xyz except for the summon of a "The Stringed" monster. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect the controller of this card selects two monster card zones: The selected card zones cannot be used as long as this card remains face-up on the field, then: Reduce this cards ATK to 0. When a monster is Special Summoned to your opponents side of the field you can Special Summon this card from your hand and negate its effect.

Effect: Once per turn, during your main phase, you can Special Summon this card to your opponents side of the field. If this card is summoned by this effect it cannot be tributed or change it's battle position and cannot be used as Synchro or Xyz except for the summon of a "The Stringed" monster. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect the controller of this card takes 400 points of damage for each "The Stringed" card on the field. When a monster is Special Summoned to your opponents side of the field you can Special Summon this card from your hand and negate its effect.

Effect: Tribute one monster you control to Special Summon one "The Stringed" monster from your deck to your opponents side of the filed, then: Special Summon one "The Stringed" monster of the same level to your side of the field in face-up defence position. Its effect is negated and it cannot be used as Synchro material.

Effect: Two Level 3 "The Stringed" monsters
Once per turn you can detach one Xyz material from this card to activate one of the following effects
*Shuffle three "The Stringed" cards from your graveyard into your deck and draw two cards.
*Add one "The Stringed" card from your graveyard to your hand.
*Special Summon one "The Stringed" monster from your graveyard to your opponents side of the field and treat it as though it was summoned by its own effect.

Effect: Three Level Four monsters
Once per turn you can detach one Xyz material from this card to activate one of the following effects
*Special Summon one "The Stringed" monster from your graveyard and negate its effect.
*Add two "The Stringed" monsters with 1500 or less ATK to your hand from your graveyard.
*Destroy Spell/Trap cards on the field up to the number of "The Stringed" monsters on the field.
When this card is destroyed by a card effect you can special summon any "The Stringed" monsters attached to this card as Xyz material to your opponents side of the field in face-up defence position and treat them as though they were summoned by their own effects.

Please give con/crit, sorry about the lengthy effects but they were surprisingly hard to write.

Note: There is an error on all of the non-Xyz monsters where the word Material is left out just so you know.

Interesting concept. Haven't seen it before, and looks good!
-The Stringed Mistress: Great support, evidently an esential if you wish to summon Herald or Djinn. 10/10
-The Stringed Angel: Great effect, but can work against you if the Opponent returns it to their hand, making them the Origional Owner. But, as it is very unlikely, not really a problem. 9/10
-The Stringed Musician: Great support, especial as it would only work for you. 10/10
-The Stringed Assassin: Favorite out of the bunch! But, much like Angel, can work against you. 9/10
-The Stringed Ice Queen: Zone controll is always fun, and this queen makes it more-so. And, can't work against you! 10/10
-The Stringed Fire Queen: Good card, but relies on the opponent having more than just this card. Not as effective early on in the game. 8/10
-The Stringed Herald: Fun effects. Love the card. 10/10
-The Djinn, Great Ruler of The Stringed: Love this card. Even funnier effects. But, maybe a little OP. 9/10

Overall: 10/10. Great set, you should expand it if possible.

Thanks I'm currently considering ways to expand it as we speak (possibly more Xyz, a support archetype or spell/trap support). It's good to have such a great review

I got the art from Sword-Summoner's photobucket. Just google "Sword-Summoner". A warning though quite a few people (especially me lol) like to use his stuff.
