Pretty lackluster, though the art is awesome. Also, being detached as an Xyz Material does not count as being on the field. Xyz Materials are not on the field. I suppose it was meant to be used with Tour Guide? As I said, doesn't work.

I see what you were doing. For use with tourguide and xyz shenanigan. Too bad it won't work. For the reason stated above, but more importantly it misses timing. The effect is optional. Example: You detach that from Leviathan Dragon. You try to activate its effect, but you can't because Leviathan has to gain 500 ATK first. By then though the timing for the effect to activate is gone. Fix that and you should be fine. Your OCG is fine, but field & material should be capitalized.

Same thing as post above me. That's pretty much it, except I have one more thing to comment.

Even if you fix it and the timing works, and it is used with Tour Guide for an Xyz monster, you are kind of stuck with another copy of this card on the field, and to be perfectly honest the only purpose of this card is to be used for Xyz material, or maybe for extra material in the Grave for DAD/BLS/CS, otherwise its stats aren't very powerful. So, it kind of ruins the purpose of being used with Tour Guide because all it gives you is a 1500 DEF monster on the field that can easily be bypassed.

So, I don't know if your intention was to make it balanced or for use of a combo, but it seems somewhat underpowered to me. As for the text fix, basically everything that AznKvn said, but also I think it should be "as an Xyz Material for an Xyz monster". Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that should be it. So far, 7/10.

You people keep telling him about how it misses timing and all that but your not telling him how to fix it. This is the problem with the Realistic card section now-a-days...
Anyways if you wanted it to work and be able to activate its effect as an Xyz material here is an OCG fix for yah: "[i][b]When this card is sent to the graveyard: Special Summon 1 "Ricolinnos" from your deck in face-up defense position. This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster[/b][/i]." Plain and simple. Now for the card itself, considering my OCG fix, this could more than likely be semi-limited mostly for the same reason Reborn Tengu was semi'd. Not only that, but it gets its effect even if detached as an Xyz material. This kind of advantage is why Dandy was limited as well. Despite this i can't see much use for it and Sangan still outclasses this card just because of its search effect. Other than that i can see this being tech'd in a Wind-up or Inzektor deck which, in terms of brokeness, really isnt a good thing. These type of cards can't really be balanced without entirely changing their uploaders purpose and if i made its effect so that its an optional SS that has to be removed from the field, (rendering it useless when used as an Xyz material), it will just be completely outclassed by sangan. so yeah...i can't say this is a good card, but good try anyways.

There's better official wording that is not broken as thus does not need further balancing, taken from the card Tri-Tummy Knight:

[b]"If this card is sent to the Graveyard because it was an Xyz Material and it was detached to activate an Xyz Monster's effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Ricolinnoss" from your Deck in face-up Defense Position."[/b]

It takes far more space though. Might not be how the card's english version will turn out because this is written as seen on Dueling Network and this card is probably not TCG yet.
