Guest cardcommando
Today I have learned of nintendo's new game coming to the 3DS. It's Pokemon Y and Pokemon X. I have to say the 3D pokemon (Xerneas (X), and Yveltal (Y)) look awesome and powerful, but does this seem all too familiar? -If you recall from not long ago, Yugioh 5d's introduced the Mechlords, highly developed synchro destroying robots that have a 3D physical appearence. 1 "generation"/show/spin-off later, Yugioh Zexal features number monsters. They too also have a 3D physical appearence. -Next we have the X, Y, (probably their will be) Z thing. Xerneas and Yveltal are based off of the alphabet. You know, there's also another system we use in our life called numbers. Going back to Yugioh Zexal, remember me mentioning the number monsters? If you for some illogical reason do not understand my hints here's a quick summarizing comparison- 3D Yugioh monsters - 3D PokemonNumber monsters - Alphabet Pokemon It seems we are at a "wow, I never thought of that" comment. I too am a little surprised at this. Is Pokemon ripping-off Yugioh? Or is it something else? Is it something that not just Nintendo and Saban are doing, but what Japaneese cartoon shows and games are doing. This is the start of a conspiracy theory I'd like to call the 3D Taking Over Japaneese Cartoon Shows/ Video Games Big Bang Theory (or the 3DTOJCSBB theory (bet you can't say that 10x fast) for short). I'll be talking about this in another topic area, but for now you may fire away your comments about my comparison subject.
