[spoiler Heroes] [/spoiler] [spoiler Avengers Initiative] [/spoiler] [spoiler Spells] [/spoiler] [spoiler Villains] Loki Effect: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 2 "Loki Illusion Token" (Spellcaster-Type/ DARK/Level 4/ATK 1900/DEF 1300). These Tokens cannot be Tributed. Loki, God of Mischief Effect: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 "Loki" and 2 "Chitauri" monsters from your Graveyard. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card during your Battle Phase, you can negate its activation and destroy it. During the End Phase, if this face-up card on the field was destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard this turn, you can remove from play 1 "Chitauri" monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned by this effect, you can select 1 Trap Card in your Graveyard, and add it to your hand. I kinda took the effect wholesale from YGO's Loki, mainly because I was really exhausted and couldn't think of any effect to give him. Why, then, would you include something like a reference to the comics, which you do on Hawkeye's card? It's also a breaking of the fourth wall, I do not mind adding. I wonder how "Steve Rogers" is different from "Captain America." At the point pictured, he has already taken the Serum. If it's the uniform and shield, shouldn't his DEF be the only thing to increase? On the other hand, I appreciate the 'once per turn' and 'twice per turn' cool-down periods. Why is Thor's DEF so low? He's the friggin God of Thunder, if you'll excuse the expression. Asgardians have additional immunities over even peak-human heroes. Ask Hawkeye: he knows. ATK and DEf seem reasonable, otherwise. Except for Steve's picture, they're pretty good (I'd rather not be looking at Cap's backside). I look forward to seeing, for example, what you do with the Helicarrier and (I think) the Mk-9 armour. The movie is notoriously missing Ant-Man/Giant Man and Wasp. Would you be willing to fill the gap? Also looking forward to Iron Man 3 and Avengers 2. He and Green Arrow are the only ones I know of who managed to make a boxing glove light enough and aerodynamic enough to fly on an arrow. [chuckles] Can't have been easy. First Avenger Posted January 27, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 27, 2013 Hi guys. Sorry for late reply. I'll try to answer everything. 1. I put Hawkeye as a normal monster merely because I was looking at a "if i build a deck solely on these cards, i'd like a nice lvl 4 normal monster" perspective. Not that I don't like Hawkeye or anything >< Plus, I was kinda out of ideas at that time so I thought a normal monster would be nice (although now I feel that I should give some effect). As for his flavour text, my apologies. I didn't really read it so i didn't see the part that breaks the fourth wall. My bad there. I do, however, plan to make him utilise spell (and maybe trap) cards to make him stronger, as his "tactic" in this set. 2. I put Thor's def low because he'd be quite powerful with Mjolnir equipped (sorry i didn't feel like uploading the spells and traps at that time so the card looks useless here). I focused on giving him really good offence(with the help of Mjolnir), and to make it not too OP, gave a low defense(ok, maybe 200 DEF seems too low, now that i look at it). 3. OMG i laughed at the steve roger's butt comment! Well, I only made a steve rogers card because I wanted my lvl 4 captain america to have a high base ATK, since he is the "super soldier". but i didn't want a lvl 4 monster with 2100 ATK be too hard to summon, so i threw in a steve rogers. I'd have skip steve rogers entirely if i thought of another way to summon Captain America. I'll upload more cards now, and I've yet to touch on equips for most characters, and spell/trap cards for them.
