Objective

1. Summon X1

2. Banish X1 for it's second effect

3. OPTIONS : Leviair, then go into X4, then push for game over and over| Same thing, but Acid Golem last | Go into any Rank 3

4. Attack an empty field

 

OR

 

Destroy a card with X3, and repeat above.

 

 

The deck is very neat, and its very interesting. The fact that X2 can refresh your hand of vanillas, and keep your deck ready for X1's effect is very good flow with the deck.

 

The deck goes into rank 3s super easily, without being abusive. The deck is only rediculously powerful if you let it be that way, and take away consistancy.

Strengths :           Can spam rank 3 XYZs hard. 

Will almost always have targets for its effects, never has "dead draws"

Can stall when you want it, then push for game right after

Can get over virtually anything with X4

Can temporarily clear whole fields

 

Minuses : Can never minus your opponent permenantly, as X4 only sends back to hand

1 Veiler, 1 Torrential, 1 Maxx "c", 1 Solemn, and you can't OTK.

If you do not draw X1 or X3, you will lose.

Pretty sure this belongs in archetypes and sets, so please move this Koko. I'll go through the cards 1 by 1:

 

1. I'm not sure exactly what you were thinking when you made this card, but it's poorly designed. It's a rank 3 rabbit OR a mini-rescue cat for no cost that's searchable (via X3's effect) and spammable (Machine Dupe) and can use the effect multiple times per turn. <cough> leviair <cough> You need to add the clause "You can only use 1 effect of 'Mechforce X1' per turn." Then it's *ok*, but the design is still questionable.

 

2. It's awful! Both the effects are -1s that don't net you much advantage. If I were you, I'd make its effect that shuffles to draw shuffle machines from the graveyard into the deck. Then, it's usable, albeit mediocre.

 

3. It's a Shura. Standard fare, decently designed, etc etc etc.

 

4. A built-in compulse effect is pretty useful, even if it is on a measly 1500 body, and the other effect is good in that it recycles your X1s, but slow enough that it isn't prone to loops. For the sake of usability, I'd bump the ATK to 1900.

If a deck can only function because of one broken card, then it doesn't deserve to exist. And banging out 2 rank 3s OR a rank 3 and Gaia knight/barkion off of a single card isn't anything less than broken. The point of this section is to make balanced cards, not extend Konami's "the power creep isn't that bad!" mentality. I'm trying to help you make it balanced. :/

It cannot bring out barkion. There are barely any Level 3 Normal machine-type monsters.


Leviair cannot be broken with 1800 atk. The strongest card this deck can make is Acid Golem, and that's final. You can make a few level 6 Synchros, as well. But, that isn't broken, and neither is making rank 3s.
