Saynt
2 Level 4 Gemini monsters If you control a face-up Level 4 Gemini monster that was Special Summoned by the effect of a Level 4 monster, you can Special Summon this card by attaching those 2 monsters to this card as Xyz Materials (this is treated as an Xyz Summon). Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material to activate 1 of these effects, based on the number of Effect Monsters used to Xyz Summon this card: ●0+: Add 1 Gemini monster from the Deck to your hand; it cannot be Summoned this turn. ●1+: You can Normal Summon 1 additional monster this turn. ●2: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Gemini monster from your Deck or Graveyard; it is treated as an Effect Monster and gains its effect. PaladinCards
Honestly, this is a cool card. I like it quite a bit. But its effect seems off to me. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the effect be better for each Normal Monster used in its summon? To me its seems that it's better to summon it without any Normal Monsters. Now, if you were going for Gemini Monsters, I would definitely reconsider its effect. Other than that, it's a really cool Monster!
Saynt
Wouldn't it make more sense to have the effect be better for each Normal Monster used in its summon? Gemini monsters when first Summoned are always treated as a Normal Monster. It takes an extra Normal Summon or use of support cards to have them gain their effects. Saynt
Where did you make this card? I used this template by Judas.
Judαs
-Change 0, 1 and 2 to 0+, 1+ and 2, so a player can use any effect they like if they used 2 Geminis (but you'll also have to word the effect differently, to make it on the basis of "Gemini Monsters being treated as Effect Monsters used to Xyz Summon this card". -Also you should remove the "Gemini" part: that would cause problems because of cards like Gemini Elf/Gemini Imp. They have different japanese names anyway and including them would be weird, kinda. Otherwise it's fine I guess. Seems balanced -- I like it when people actually work on their artwork to add the little details, like the arcane circle, instead of just finding an image and using it. :) Good job. Saynt
Thanks for the feedback. Special Summon effect added, since the original intention was for Gemini Scorpion and Summoner to be used. "based on the number of Normal Monsters" -> "based on the number of Effect Monsters", although I'm not too sure on how Supervise'd Geminis would work during the Summon. I assume "being treated as" is redundant, since Birthright/Silent Doom/Swing of Memories would work with Gemini monsters. Unfortunately I haven't had luck with finding a complete image of the circle that appears on Crusader of Endymion and Tuned Magician.
Judαs
But isn't it more or less the same as this seal? There are even better pics of it, but this one I found on quickly googling.
Saynt
It's a different one entirely. The symbols are different.
