Patchouli Knowledge
Second deck I made, this set of cards is based on a League of Legends champion, Ryze the Rogue Mage. Honoring Ryze's passive to reduce cooldown on all of his other abilities by one second every time he uses one of his abilities, I made Ryze himself with an ability to recycle specific spell cards that allow Ryze to strengthen himself or weaken others. Like always, comments are appreciated. Thank you.

Lex_Lancer
Overload could definitely do with a buffing. So, could "Spell W: Rune Prison", and "Spell E: Spell Flux". There's a card called "Mythical Beast Cerberus" that has a similar effect. Also, double-check that LORE, buddy! Ryze the Rogue Mage's effect SHOULD read something like this: Each time your opponent activates a Spell Card, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. Once per turn, remove 3 Spell Counters to select and add 1 Spell or Trap Card from your Graveyard to your hand. Seems broken. You can literally stack counters and never run out of them; at least with "Mythical Beast Cerberus", it makes you dump all your counters when you make it attack. Spell Q - Overload SHOULD read something like this: You can only activate this card if you have a face-up "Ryze the Rogue Mage" on your side of the field. Choose 1 of your opponent's monsters: Target monster loses 500 ATK until your End Phase. Legitiment, to me. Spell W - Rune Prison (which should be a "Trap" card) SHOULD read something like this (you should be specific on how the Spell/Trap Card affects you if you use this card): You can only activate this card if you have a face-up "Ryze the Rogue Mage" on your side of the field. If 1 of your opponent's monsters declares an attack or if 1 of your monsters is targetted by a Spell or Trap Card, negate all Battle Damage(?) and/or negate the activation of that card and destroy it. I think the card would play better if you could choose what effect you wanted to use - like the "Kunai with Chain" Trap Card. Spell E - Spell Flux SHOULD read something like this: You can only activate this card if you have a face-up "Ryze the Rogue Mage" on your side of the field. Whenever a "Ryze the Rogue Mage" you control declares an attack, any effects that change Battle Position are negated (because your opponent cannot change the Battle Position of monsters freely during your Battle Phase). Maybe you can change the effects so that you can "destroy 1 monster in a specific position". Reading the card like this makes it COMPLETELY unwanted. Ultimate Spell R - Desparate Power SHOULD read something like this: You can only activate this card if you have a face-up "Ryze the Rogue Mage on your side of the field. Once activated, this card remains on the field for 3 of your turns. Whenever "Ryze the Rogue Mage" destroys a monster, as a result of battle: Gain 500 Life Points. Whenever a Spell or Trap Card is destroyed while this card is activated: Gain 500 Life Points. This card works like "Solemn Wishes" except it requires a monster to gain its benefits; worth it if you're running a deck with nothing but "Ryze the Rogue Mage" in it.
