.Avaricious
Alright, I'm new, so I decided to make a basic, yet over powered card that would seem awesome, it's not like, 10,000 ATK, but still over powered when it comes to official cards. I'll be making the card used to ritual summon him soon, but for now, I thought it was cool enough. Tell me what you think: Monsters: Description: This card can only be summoned when "Ultimate Dark Sacrifice" is activated. Once per turn, Kauis, Dreadlord of Darkness can take up to 2000 points of ATK or DEF from a monster on the field, and steal it, adding it to it's own ATK or DEF. The points stolen are permanent. Kauis can not attack the same turn the effect is used. Effect: Remork can not be special summoned, only way to get him on the field, is by Tribute summoning. Once a turn, you can pay 500 Life Points, to automatically destroy one monster on the field, this does not count towards Remorks main attack. Effect: Mydru can only be summoned by tributing a Dreadlord. Once on the field, Mydru gains 1,000 ATK and DEF for every Dread monster in the graveyard. Once per turn, Mydru can remove one Dread monster from the graveyard from play, to destroy a monster on the field. My new Dread card: Effect: This card can only be Summoned by Tributing 2 "Pawns of Darkness" cards from your hand or field. Once per turn, Dremora can negate the activation of a Spell, Magic, or Trap card. Description: Aurora, Dreadrider of Darkness is a serpent riding witch. Legend says, when she appears, its a sign that the Dreadlord wont be far behind. Effect: This monster can be normal summoned, after it has a successful battle with another monster, it is switched to defense position and cannot be changed until your opponents end phase. Effect: Dread Mongrel serves only one master, and that master is the Dreadlord, so if the Dreadlord is on the field, Dread Mongrel gains an immediate 1,000 ATK and DEF. Effect: Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points to increase his Yamik's ATK by 500 for 2 turns, after the 2 turns his points return to normal. Yamik counts as 2 Tributes when summoning a Dread card. Spell Cards: Effect: Activate only if a Dread monster is on the field. If so, equip it with this card, once equipped, the Dread monster attached to it gains 300 ATK and DEF for every Dread monster in the graveyard. If the equipped monster is destroyed, discard this card. Effect: This card can only be equipped to a Dread monster. Once equipped, it gives an additional 500 ATK and DEF for everyone Dread monster on the field in Attack Position. Effect: To activate this card, pay 1,000 Life Points, then draw 5 cards from your deck. For every Dread monster in your hand, your opponent looses 500 Life Points. Once done, discard your entire hand. And the most over powered card I ever made: Effect: To activate Realm of the Dread Divine, there must be a Dread monster active on the field. This card can not be destroyed, nor overridden unless all Dread monsters are no longer active. All Dread cards become impossible to defeat in battle, and monsters effects on your opponents field are negated, and all Dread monsters on the field gain 500 ATK and DEF points. Effect: Activate this card when your opponent targets a Dread monster, negate the activation of the Spell, Magic, Trap card, or Monster Effect. Then pay 300 Life Points, to place this card face down on the field, if you don't, send this card to the Graveyard.
Patchouli Knowledge
>< Does the ATK come back at the end? If not, then it's not as OP as you would think. Maybe this effect could be good: ... Once per turn, lower this card's ATK by 900 to destroy one monster your opponent controls. IDK, just an honest thought. .Avaricious
Yes, the attacks don't even leave it, think of it like this, half it's own attack points are 2250, it doesn't lose that, it just takes it away from another monster. I need to reword it, also the ritual card to summon it is being renamed to "Ultimate Dark Sacrifice". Thanks for your feedback. I just updated my card, changing its effect. Effect: This card can only be summoned when "Ultimate Dark Sacrifice" is activated. Once per turn, Kauis, Dreadlord of Darkness can take up to 2000 points of ATK or DEF from a monster on the field, and steal it, adding it to it's own ATK or DEF. The points stolen are permanent. Kauis can not attack the same turn the effect is used. Think that effect is good? lol EDIT: I know this may be off topic, but I want to post a new card I made, it has no effect, but I thought a straight up powerful dragon was needed. I know the image isn't the greatest of quality, I tried rendering it into a png, but it wouldn't, so I was stuck with the jpg. I made a card to go along with my whole dragon deck I'm making. dylan1193
I like the effects, seem like they could work well in a dragon deck like mine :P And for whatever reason, even ".png" files under 2Mb in size refuse to upload for me, so I've had to use ".jpg" like you. This isn't really all THAt bad, but it does hurt the overall quality especially when trying to do holofoil etc.
.Avaricious
Ya, I am still learning, so I decided to make some over powered cards to start off with, but I will soon start making more balanced cards, to mess around with, but sadly since I'm not an artist, I will need to take images from friends or the web. @dylan1193 Just wondering, the dragon card in your signature, is that blues eyes ultimate dragon, or is it a unique dragon that looks very similar? lol
.Avaricious
I have just renamed this thread, and have also just updated the original post, I am now working on a quick little project to make a strong deck called the, "Dread of Darkness" deck. I imagine it being named that while someone works on unboxing it. :P I just realized I double posted, but don't know how to delete one of them. >.>
dylan1193
Ya, I am still learning, so I decided to make some over powered cards to start off with, but I will soon start making more balanced cards, to mess around with, but sadly since I'm not an artist, I will need to take images from friends or the web. @dylan1193 Just wondering, the dragon card in your signature, is that blues eyes ultimate dragon, or is it a unique dragon that looks very similar? lol I drew an entirely new dragon from scratch, but ditched the idea after 3- 4days of designing due to coming down with food poisoning. That was one of the most gorgeous designs of Blue-Eyes I could find, so I just used that instead and created some background lore about it being a reincarnation of Blue-Eyes as a "Number" Xyz. As you can see, it isn't an Xyz Monster, but I have the alternate version(including my original artwork, Xyz design, and effect) saved to my hard drive. My signatures generally feature incomplete or "WIP" work, so I can take helpful feedback and incorporate it into the cards. Is there anything you would change on my cards? Feel free to hit me with as much criticism as you like, for talent is shaped through criticism.
