- 2 One Day of Peace

- 1 Wisdom

- 2 Torrential

+ 1 Tower

+ 2 Star Hall

+ 1 Fate + 1 Eternity OR +2 Royal Decree

I too feel there should be room for at least one more Temperance, but I'm not really yet everyone else is so I don't feel comfortable suggesting neging  them for Temperance maybe a Justice for one of them.

Does the Tsukuyomi really help? I'd swap it for another temperance.

Tsuku is an out to TKings and can reuse Magicians that survive. It also does little things that help, flipping Zenmaines, Dragons, Beast, Shi En, and a nice Power target. I also currently side Creature Swaps for a little fun. I actually rarely Summon Temperance since Divine Judgment > Justice > Priestess in hand is the usual play.

Star Hall is too slow imo. The ATK boost is either overkill or insignificant, plus it sits on the field which I don't want (same reason for not wanting another Tower).

One Day is testing amazing, so I really have no clue as to why you think it should be taken out. So often the deck gets all the resources it needs, via Judgment, but it gives the opponent a turn to OTK. One Day forces your opponent to go up against all of the advantage the deck can accumulate.

Mind explaining Decree over TT? I currently side Decree.

I chose One Day to be replaced with Star Hall the Attack boost is enough to stop any OTK (or at least in my experience anyway) and at its worse its a veiler searcher. One Day looks like it would simply grant you a turn you never needed. Between your hand advantage and your OTK stoppers like Book, Fate, Veiler (somewhat) and Trago I find One Day to just be excessive. I can't see how it wouldn't test well, you draw a card and you get a free turn...to do more of the same when you played One Day.

As for Star Hall an tower just sitting there. I don't know why that is a bad thing. Drawing an extra card shouldn't be a bad thing and getting Batel to the over 2000 range is a sign that you've won already because the level 2 is now a beater. Right now it looks like the build is just sit on Junon and blast things. When Star Hall says sit on any spellcaster and declare game.

Decree vs TT: That's personal experience, no one tries to swarm prophecy or at least not me. Then again I sit on Star Hall like a boss and if you can't get over the 2200 Batel then there is no need to commit the resources to swarming. People do save all their traps for getting rid of Junon and Solemning other key plays. Royal Decree stops all of that  noise. In short I think Torrential is more reactive and defensive while Royal Decree is more proactive and offensive.

Finally if there is No Star Hall why use Tempest Magician?

Sorry for the long delay. Life and me forgetting about this thread. :I

I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this, because I honestly have no clue what you mean by Star Hall stopping OTKs. I also have yet to even need any ATK boost that Star Hall could provide. The deck is really easy to maneuver with and getting the points on the board is not a problem.

I'm not saying that Tower is bad. Just that another Tower would be a waste of a slot in the deck. Next, having a Spellbook on the field is bad because it is not where I want them (grave or in hand). I would hate to end up having nothing to remove for Priestess or having to remove something that I would rather recycle or Master. I don't see how sitting on Priestess is a bad thing. Its the win condition. I don't need a 2000 Magician, just a Priestess which is versatile and is easy to get to the field. The deck has very little backrow, so I don't see how it stays on the field long.

Fair enough.

I have gone to my Extra deck for only 2 cards, Phoenix and Big Eye (for maybe 4 times total). Even so, Tempest could be used to to get some last damage off.

What I currently testing
-1 Tsukuyomi
-1 Spellbook of Power
-2 TT

+3 TToC
+1 Toon Gemini

I understand the toon tables. but it honestly feels like a waste of space to me if you open with magician and a secret/judgement, not that hard to do if you run more than 1 judgement, you just play out a few spell books and then your hand will be full of them easily, to which I ask why only 1?

oon a second note, I find the banish level 7 draw 2 card to be decent if you run cards to grab monsters from the banish, and I've been seeing a lot of macro anti meta messing up a lot of decks right now. a new macro monarch deck over here is running over meta decks not prepared for them, do you have an idea as to what can be done there with this deck?
