Zazubat
Finaly done with my new archetype (more to come?) and I really like it. It got a neat design, and good draw power. Of course improvements are to be had, so as always take a look.
Once per turn: You can reveal all Set cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; send 1 or more "Essaia" monsters to your Graveyard, then add "Essaia" cards from your Deck to your hand equal to the number of monsters sent. If this card is sent from the Spell & Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Essaia" Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand.If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card (from your hand or Graveyard) in face-up Defence Position. This effect of "Rook of the Essaia" can only be used once per turn. When this card is flipped face-up: You can reveal 1 "Essaia" monster in your hand and Set it. If this monster is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard: You can reveal 1 Set card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; if it is an "Essaia" monster, send it to the Graveyard, then Special Summon this card in face-down Defence Position. This effect of "Rook of the Essaia" can only be used once per turn.If this card is sent from the Spell & Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard, then if you control no other Spell/Trap Cards, you can add 1 "Essaia" card from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn turn, you can reveal 1 Set card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; if it is an "Essaia" monster, send it to the Graveyard, then this card gains 500 ATK and DEF until the End Phase When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: You can reveal 1 "Essaia" monster in your hand and Set it in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, then if you control no other monsters, this card can attack again if you opponent controls a monster.Cannot be Special Summoned from the hand, except by it's own effect. Cannot be Special Summoned by the effects of other Effect Monsters. You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by revealing all Set cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; send all "Essaia" monsters to the Graveyard, then Special Summon this card. This card cannot be Set in your Spell & Trap Card Zone. Once per turn, you can reveal 1 "Essaia" monster from your hand and Set it in your Spell & Trap Card Zone. Once per turn you can reveal 1 Set card in your Spell & Trap Card zone; if it is an "Essaia" monster, Special Summon it, but it cannot attack this turn.If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card (from your hand or Graveyard) in face-up Defence Position. This effect of "Rook of the Essaia" can only be used once per turn.2 Level 4 LIGHT monstersYou can only control 1 "King of the Essaia". Can also be Xyz Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by revealing all Set cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; attach 2 or more "Essaia" monsters to this card as Xyz Materials. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to reveal all cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; send 1 or more "Essaia" monsters to your Graveyard, then draw cards equal to the number of cards sent. Once per turn: you can reveal 1 "Essaia" monster from your hand and Set it in your Spell & Trap Card Zone.Note about King here: I am thinking of making it a Rank 6 instead, increasing it's ATK and DEF and giving it an additional boost, but probably taking out or increasing the extra Summoning Condition so it isn't such an easy Rank 6. If you like that idea, make sure to put in how you would like it to function as a Rank 6 instead.

If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon 1 "Essaia" monster from your hand, but make it's ATK and DEF 0. Destroy it during the End Phase. You can only activate 1 "Essaia Empty Board" per turn.Set 1 "Essaia" monster from your Deck directly in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, then you can reveal an other card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; if it's an "Essaia" monster, send it to the Graveyard, also draw 1 card. You can only activate 1 "Essaia's Hourglass" per turn.Activate only when your opponent controls a monster(s) and you control no monster(s): Reveal all cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; send all cards from your Spell & Trap Card Zone to your Graveyard, then Special Summon any "Essaia" monsters. They cannot attack and are destroyed during the End Phase.
Darkneptune
By far the most original concept ive seen in the forums. i like the way it works turning monsters into backrow cards, it reminds of of the Crystal Beasts. I think the King is ok as a rank 4 but if you want to make him a 6 id say an attack boost is in order. His effect i think is ok for a Rank 6. the Spell cards are cool, and dont let you abuse them by being usable only 1XTurn. One thing though, while the Essaia are set in the Spell/Trap zone, are Spells or Traps or Both? and, Can they be destroyed by Spell/Trap destroyers? Other than that, i like the images and the board concept, very cool. id say 9/

So they're all Normal Spell Cards when their, so they can be affected by other cards that target spell cards.

T3RA PROWL3R
Nice original concept (Though based off of Chess pieces, which I've been wanting to do for a long time. :P) The pictures sorta remind me of Twilight Princess.
