So Treeborn/Naturia Pineapple are probably considered to be the ultimate counters to this. evilfusion Posted February 16, 2013 Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 LADD would lose that war badly. Treeborn activates, LADD negates and loses 500 ATK/DEF. It's still the Standby Phase, so Treeborn can activate. LADD negates and loses 500. Repeat until Treeborn activates and LADD doesn't have the ATK/DEF to negate it, and SS Treeborn. I love the card. Photon Sanctuary is its best friend. And my favorite opening play is Trade-In, discard Galaxy-Eyes, Photon Sanctuary, Tribute Tokens for this, and watch your opponent squirm as they usually have to waste resources just to weaken this enough to kill it, and then you bring back Galaxy-Eyes when they succeed, with them likely lacking the resources they'd have used to get rid of GEPD.
