Northern Sage
Galaxy Dragoon Unknown Attribute Dragon/Effect Level 4 2000/1200 While your opponent controls a face-up "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", this card gains 1000 ATK. When this card attacks "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon": Negate that monster's effects. Buster Dra-Gun Normal Spell Card Target 1 face-up "Galaxy Dragoon" on the field; it gains 1000 ATK. When that target destroys "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" by battle: Inflictdamage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's ATK.
evilfusion
What. A monster that exists to counter Galaxy-Eyes, WHILE being part of the Galaxy archetype. Traitor! I'd probably run it for fun. 2000 ATK, Light/Dragon that counters Galaxy-Eyes would make me less screwed when my opponent steals my Galaxy-Eyes. Aerion Brightflame
The oddest thing about this is that Kaito is obviously running this... Why would he have a card that counters his ace in his deck? I mean I understand it in general terms, but this specifically? OT: It's a searchable Level 4 presumably LIGHT dragon. So it has a lot running for it. But.. I still probably wouldn't use it, unless I made a very trolly deck that used Creature Swap to give my opponent a Galaxy Eyes to get run over. But killing Galaxy-Eyes has no advantage. This suicides with GEPD. So I can only think Kaito would use it in case someone uses Galaxy-Eyes against him, the way a few people beat me by using my Galaxy-Eyes against me (and had no way to win with their normal strategy). But it also gives the opponent a chance to do it back by using Galaxy Dragun instead.

I never said it was going to be a good deck. Even with that... I don't think Kaito's character would lend itself to that far, I mean his playstyle is very controlling and disruptive normally, at least in the anime, as shown by the fact he took no damage in his first couple of duels. This just seems to far fetched to me for his character. I'd expect him to have something more like Unicorn Spear, which had generic applications than like this. On the bright side, if the deck ever became tier, then this is the funniest side card around.
newhat
Maybe I should go to the Wikia and rewrite this card's effect, because as it stands Galaxy-Eyes would just banish it.
Northern Sage
No, wait, it got support: Buster Dra-Gun Normal Spell Card Target 1 face-up "Galaxy Dragoon" on the field; it gains 1000 ATK. When that target destroys "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" by battle: Inflictdamage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's ATK. Going to edit the OP and get it in there, plus the apparently more correct spelling of Galaxy Dragoon.
Aerion Brightflame
So Kaito's super situational card got an even more situational support card? Wow...................... Though the flat out +1000 isn't the worst thing ever. Yeah the new card is toilet paper, just because it's to specific to ever be good.
Premier Alexander Romanov
This is more situational than launching a dragon knight at a castle's flotation ring using a cyborg turtle, causing the castle to collapse on all of the opponent's monsters. evilfusion
The two combined can inflict 4000 damage. That's an OTK in the anime/manga. Why anyone would run them outside of intentionally swapping Galaxy-Eyes is a mystery. Well, in Kaito's case, Dragoon at least is a 2000 ATK monster that can SS Galaxy-Eyes, plus making it a decent beater in its own right. The effect, by the way, is obviously Continuous, not a Trigger Effect. I pointed out this issue when ZW-Unicorn Spear was first translated as starting a chain. This is the same way. I recently wondered a bit about Kaito's Photon Mode. For a while, it was being built up about how overusing it was hurting him and could potentially be fatal. I also noticed his body kept changing or glowing whenever he was using his Photon cards, especially Galaxy-Eyes, starting with his D-Gazer. He later started experiencing pain when he played Galaxy-Eyes in later duels (most notable against Tron and Dr. Faker). While it's theorized that his Photon Mode is why he's immune to Numbers, he seems to be almost literally bound to Galaxy-Eyes itself. When Coat of Arms absorbed Neo Galaxy's effect, Kaito experienced pain. I wonder what would happen if someone tried to use his own Galaxy-Eyes against him. Would they feel some sort of negative side-effect, similar to what happens to players who take control of a Number user's Number? And considering Misael and Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon tiring him when he absorbed it, this seems like it's possible.
Premier Alexander Romanov
The only conjecture I have is that Dragoon and Dra-Gun exist as a fail-safe in case GEPD gets hijacked, such as being taken over by #11.But otherwise, they seem so derpy. FreelancerRaiko
Hey I think it makes sense for Kaito though. Remember, this is the same guy who was planning on swapping his Acid Golem to his opponent in order to win.
