Lunaris Archetype !

Hi, I'm pretty new to this site and I have been dueling for a while now. I have finished some card from a new archetype that I created called "Lunaris" who are based on the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac from the Lunar calender. This archetype focuses on banishing itself so other Lunaris cards can use their epic effects. This archetype is pretty  broken and cheap but has weaknesses like light-imprisoning mirror, which doesn't allow light effects and a continuous tap that does not let any monsters become banished.

 

Notes: Sorry about rabbit having the black line under it. The dog looks like a wolf and I am aware of that. I wanted to add a trap card that allows you to special summon 1 banished "Lunaris" and add 1 to your hand, but you cannot conduct battle phase and it is banished at the end of the turn. Galastor is not broken/cheap/OP at all. Dark Hole, Solemn, Mirror Force, Compulsory, Fiendish Chain and any card that doesn't target it or destroy it can kill it. I was thinking of using the Chinese names instead of the english animal names for example, Lunaris - Yang the Wise, Hu the Vengeance? All comments are appreciated here is the lineup:

Effects:

 

Rat - You can Banish this card from your hand to Banish another "Lunaris" monster from your hand. When you do so draw 1 card. You can only use the effect of "Lunaris - Rat the Spirit" once per turn. When this card leaves the field, Banish it instead.[ Banishes "Lunaris" monsters from you hand and provides draw power, main tuner]

 

Ox - This card gains 100 attack for each of your Banished "Lunaris" monster. Once per turn: if this card attacked you can Banish one "Lunaris" monster from your deck. When this card leaves the field, banish it instead. [ Banishes "Lunaris from deck and is a good beatstick]

 

Tiger - When this card is Banished by the effect of a "Lunaris" card Special Summon it. Once per turn you can add 1 "Lunaris" monster to your hand. The turn you activate this effect, this card cannot attack. When this card leaves the field Banish it instead.[ Special Summons itself and is one of the searchers of the deck]

 

Rabbit - You can Special Summon this card from your hand be returning 2 Banished "Lunaris" monsters to your hand. You must then use one of those monsters in a Synchro Summon from your hand. When this card leaves the field, Banish it instead.[ One of the best cards in the deck, recycles and auto Synchro summons]

 

Dragon - When this card is face up on the field every time a "Lunaris" monster is Banished, place 1 Lunaris counter on this card. Once per turn: you can remove a number of Lunaris counters to Special Summon a "Lunaris" monster with an equal or lower level from your deck. When this card leaves the field, Banish it instead. [ Brings out "Lunaris" from the deck instead from the banish zone]

 

Snake - Once per turn: You can banish this card from your hand to add 1 "Lunaris" trap card to your hand, then add 1 of your banished "Lunaris" monsters to your hand. When this card leaves the field, banish it instead.[ Adds your "Lunaris" support cards to your hand and recycles]

 

Horse - When this card is Normal Summoned: add 1 "Lunaris" spell or trap card to your hand. The turn you activate this effect, only "Lunaris" monsters can be special summoned. When this card leaves the field. banish it instead.[ Another spell/trap searcher]

 

Monkey - When you control no monsters and you have 3 or more Banished "Lunaris" monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Rooster - This card cannot be Normal Summoned. When this card is special summoned, Banish one monster from your opponents graveyard. When this card leaves the field, banish it instead. [ Good side deck card]

Pig - This card cannot be destroyed by battle once during anyone's turn. If this card is Banished from an effect that is not it's own, you may discard one card randomly from your opponents hand. Pegasus - 1 "Lunaris" tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monsters

Once per turn you can Banish this card until the end phase to target 1 "Lunaris" monster on the field, it gains 1000 atk and can inflict piercing battle damage. When this card leaves the field, banish it instead. [ It will come back and is a disposable armory arm]
 
Wyvern - 1 "Lunaris" tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monsters
Once per turn: you can add 2 Banished "Lunaris" monsters to the top of your deck to Banish one card on your opponents side of the field, shuffle your deck afterwards. When this card leaves the field, Banish it instead. [Too good because it doesn't destroy it banishes]
 
Serpent - 1 "Lunaris" tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monster(s)
When this card is Synchro Summoned: Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower Banished "Lunaris" monster, then draw 1 card. That monster can only be Synchro Summoned for a "Lunaris" syncrho monster. When this card leaves the field, Banish it instead. [ Draw power and summons a "Lunaris"]
 
Galastor - 1 "Lunaris" tuner + 2 or more non-tuner monsters.
When this card is synchro summoned it gains effects equal to the number of banished "Lunaris" monsters.
4+: This card cannot be destroyed by card effects that target it.
6+: This card's original attack is 5000
10+: Once per turn: banish all cards in your opponents hand.

Scroll - Each time a "Lunaris" monster is banished place 1 counter on this card. Once per turn: You can remove 2 counters to draw 1 card or 4 counters to draw 2 cards.(max.4) [ Insane draw power]
 
Descent - When a "Lunaris" monster is summoned, place one "Lunar" counter on this card. When this card is sent to the graveyard, special summoned 1 "Lunaris" monster from your deck equal or less than the number of counters that were on this card. Once per turn: You can remove a number of counters to activate these effects:
2: Banish 1 "Lunaris" monster from your hand.
3: Draw 1 card.
4: Destroy one monster your opponent controls.

Roar - Banish 1 "Lunaris" monster you control, and destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, then inflict 500 damage to your opponent.[Gemini spark of the deck, but inflict damage]
 
Impact - When your opponent Special Summons a monster that as more attack than one of you face-up "Lunaris" monsters. Negate the summon and banish the card.[ Self explanatory]

  Well well well, this is most interesting indeed. However, first of all, being as you're new here, this is very passable and understandable. Neither I, or anyone else will be able to read your card effects though without you having pasted each of their card lores. If you could fix that, I could really start rating. I noticed by far that each card has at least a couple OCG errors; Example: You'd need to capitalize words like Normal Summon and Special Summon, and Banish. Also, very sorry to have to mention this, but you are going to have to remove or change the picture for your "Sheep the Wise". Its obviously inappropriate, and I'm not trying to make you feel bad. As I am Chinese myself, I'd like to go over some of the names you can use, as though the current names are cute, the zodiac would be a little more respected with retaining some of their names.

 

 One more thing, each of the 12 Chinese zodiac are related to the four elements earth, fire, wind, and water. One of my ideas is making some of your Synchros into elemental versions of one of the original 12.

 

 Once again, if you can add card lores to each card, it would be easier to give it a full review. Thank you though, this is a fresh idea for me, and I like the thought of a zodiac deck.

Tiger is pretty pretty odd seeing that you never specify where you get the banished Lunaris monster from (deck, grave, banished zone) so that should be added. Also its a little overpowered because his last effect triggers his first effect meaning he just loops and derps. That should also be fixed.

 

Rabbit is a tad excessive seeing as its just an immediate plus one and a free synchro. I would suggest you just add one banished Lunaris monster instead of 2.

 

Dragon is missing the word "level" because I assume that is what you meant when you remove the counters.

 

Snake is way past broken, but that is because he simply worded wrong. The way he is currently worded allows for never ending hand advantage. You banish snake as cost, add the trap, then just add the same snake you banished (because you didn't say excluding snake) and now that he is back in your hand you bypass the once per turn clause. Thus begging the song that never ends. To fix this the effect should be worded: Banish this card from your hand to add 1"Lunaris" trap card from your deck to your hand. The effect of "Lunaris-Snake the Stealth" can only be activated once per turn. 

This way you also get rid of the fact that he's just a +1 for no reason other than you feel like it.

 

Dog combos with tiger to promote a lot of spamming in my opinion so I'm just a tad skeptical of it.

 

Pig seems like it just gives your opponent minuses for no reason. I feel there is a loop in there somewhere but I just don't see it right now.

 

Serpent sky is just to much advantage, and I don't understand the phrase "can only be summoned for a synchro summoned"

Galastor....Yeah I'm glad the OP already had all of those disclaimer where you say its not broken, because it is. This deck can easily drop him if the deck is unnerfed and I think his effects stack so its just way too excessive. And just so you know that fact that a card can be destroyed or be countered does not mean it is isn't broken it just means it can be destroyed and can be countered. The fact that Dog drops this thing immediately is alarming. The fact that Macro and this deck would easily get you 10 banished monsters is also alarming. This is far past broken...its shattered.

 

Scroll: That's just too much draw power for no real reason...ergo broken and imbalanced. If anything it should just be like Six Sam united and the Karakuri counter part and you send it to grave to get its effect.

 

Roar: The 500 seems frivolous

Impact: So every card has something to do with banishing but the counter. I would suggest you add a banish clause in there somewhere to trigger more effects.


Lunaris: the set as whole is very derp banish. You only really need Dog, Tiger, Rabbit, Monkey (maybe) and Snake (well your version anyway) to do some hilariously excessive over the top loops. I would suggest limiting a lot of them to where they achieve some reasonable balance.
