Veniet
Just to correct some stuff about game mechanics here - all non-continuous effects start chains / take up chain links. And having an inherent Special Summon from the hand as a continuous effect is very, very weird, if not even maybe somehow against game mechanics. So its effect should likely take up a chain link. I have made an archetype based around Chain Links (the Dwarves) which has lots of cards that special summon themselves as a part of chains so I can say I know a thing or two about that. There's even a card in the archetype that gains ATK/DEF the same way as this one does. A better way to word the whole card, overall, is this: "Cannot be Special Summoned, except by its own effect. Cannot be destroyed by battle. During the End Phase of the turn this card was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return this card to the hand. During either player's turn, as Chain Link 2 or higher: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, its ATK and DEF become its Chain Link number x 800 and it cannot attack directly this turn." Oh ok, and forgive me for not noticing your Dwarves. In such case, I'll go so far as to adopt your entire OCG correction. I'll take a look at your Dwarvs a little, as I'm sparked by the relationship. Thank you, Bleak.

I'm sorry to disappoint you here Bleaknight, but you're wrong about this. Take a look at a few self-summoners, let's take some popular cards, like Archlord Kristya and Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. They do not trigger anything on their summon. Take a look at a few self-summoners, let's take some popular cards, like Archlord Kristya and Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. They do not trigger anything on their summon. Their "effects" are actually summoning conditions, which are not effects, and I was talking about effects. Oh ok, and forgive me for not noticing your Dwarves. What have you done wrong that I should forgive? lol Anyway, enjoy taking a look at them.

Unless you want it to be a triggered effect, you should not change it.
Bleaknight
So is this cards, and that doesn't trigger. My point has been proven. Unless you want it to be a triggered effect, you should not change it. In order to occupy a Chain Link it must trigger, and thus, be an effect.
