How about this?

well. not the most creative card effect I would say, and really it's pretty hard to summon without a WATER heavy deck that you probably won't have enough cards at the point where it's needed to negate effects. It's also not optional, in which case the game will require you do it if a trap card targets that monster. I would suggest changing it to "negate the Trap Card and destroy it, also your opponent cannot activate Trap Cards for the rest of the turn". That would boost this to playable.

Yup, pretty good, though it would be easier to play if you made it 2 non-tuners instead, though that is up to you, right now, it's pretty handy, if you could tell me why you have 2 tuners instead of 2 non-tuners, then don't change it.
