gamfo2
Effect: Activate only if your life points total 2000 or less. Increase your life points to 8000 and special summon 2 monsters from the graveyard with 1500 attack or less in face up attack position. After this cards activation, during each of your standby phases decrease your life points by 2000, and all battle damage you receive is doubled. Captain Murphy ☆
What if I started the duel with 4000 life points? I don't think that would be very fair if I had this card under those circumstances ya know... Also I understand that you're working on a different card pic but... Bleaknight
A one-card turn of tables does not sound good. Then again, there are cards like Gorz and Tragoedia that do it, so meh. Also cards aren't meant to be balanced under alternate game rules like starting with 4000 LP, so that is irrelevant.

The image was just a placeholder to see if it was worth continuing with this card idea. Still, I was quite proud of the result considering it took less than 2 minutes with MS Paint. I do agree that the requirements could be a bit more specific/tougher; Or the effects a tad less drastic. How about "This card can only be activated when your life points reach 0 and you would otherwise lose the match. Banish 3 cards from your hand to increase your life points to 4000 and special summon 2 monsters from your hand or graveyard in face-up attack position. After this cards activation all battle damage you recieve is doubled, and during each of your end phases you must decrease your life points by 2000." Or something like that. Anyway thanks for the feedback. I'll try to finish it soon, but my computer is fighting me.

Nothing can be activated when your life points become 0. You lose the duel.

Avaren
"Once per Duel, the next time your Life Points would be reduced to 0 or under; Increase you life points to 8000, then Special Summon 2 monsters with 1500 or less ATK in your Graveyard." Your Life Points cannot go "under". A better way a card can be activated in "response" to losing the duel is probably wording it as: "Once, during this turn, when you would take Battle Damage equal to or greater than your remaining Life Points: Make your Life Points 4000, then you can Special Summon 1 monsters with 1500 ATK or less from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position. You can activate only 1 "Random Card" per duel."
Rainbeux
It could be overpowered because you can use a card like 'Backs To the wall' or 'The Winged Dragon of Ra' to decrease your Life points and the use M.S.T. to destroy Last Breath so you woudn't lose Life points. That would be easy to fix though by adding "when your life points are reduced by your opponent" or similar.

It isn't a continuous spell card so it would automatically be sent to the graveyard after activation...

Captain Murphy ☆
My bad
Lol... Anyway, back to the card, IF IT WERE A REAL CARD it seems like it would fit in with the overpowered first gen cards. Like when people used cards like Winged Dragon of Ra and ended battles with one attack and all that. With modern day cards though this card probably wouldn't have a place in most decks. Seems like you would just be saving this card until you're about to lose, then upon its activation you would only be prolonging your defeat unless you could end the duel within 3 turns or have Ante and some High level monsters. Otherwise, your screwed-ish I give 6/

If you have a strategy or a combo you could pull off in your hand but just needed a bit more time to do it, you could activate this card and maybe pull it off. Obviously the original effect I posted needs some major tweeking to balance it though. Thanks for the feedback.
