Defeat the darkness with this dragon card

here is the dragon card that can defeat the darkness

It's kind of awkward... Drawing 2 cards from your deck is a little touchy subject, even though you have to Tribute Set it for the drawing to work, still ways will always be found to abuse it, and on flip summon it turns into a 3500 beater. Both effects together seem too good for this card. IMO The drawing effect is overpowered, this seems like a much beefed up version of "Tongue Twister".

 

The other effect is nothing special, because if it must be run, it would definitely be maindecked and not sided in the case that DARK decks are played. Counters Dark Worlds even better because it can't be run over by them, which means unless they destroy it when face-down, you're going +1 for sure, not including the card tributed. Also the DARK attack increase seems permanent for the second clause, hurray.

The OCG is messed up. Here's a fix, but I'm not 100% sure of the FLIP part because rarely have I two flip effects along with an additional non-flip effect.

 

 

FLIP: This card gains 1000 ATK, then draw 2 cards. This card cannot be destroyed by battle with a DARK or Fiend-Type monster. When this card attacks a DARK monster: It gains 500 ATK.

 

 

 

Suggested rewording:

 

When this card is flipped face-up: Draw 2 cards, then this card gains 1000 ATK. This card cannot be destroyed by battle with a DARK or Fiend-Type monster. When this card attacks a DARK monster: It gains 500 ATK, during the Damage Step only.
