Unlike Mother Grizzly, it can Special Summon Mermail Abysspike, and it doesn't have to be in Attack Position so you can loop with Abysslinde. It works under Macro Cosmos, and it's a Fish Tuner for Coelacanth. 1700 ATK is useful and it gives a hefty boost to Marksman and Cloudians. Nothing wrong with this card really.
