Chiri Tsukikawa
These are cards I made based on Izayoi Sakamaki from the anime "Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?" (English: Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?). The weird C like thing is actually supposed to be a "#". Oh and I couldn't find any images that could be cropped right for a card, so I screenshot them from the anime itself. Xi-1
Do I really need to say "it's over...!" ? Seriously, on a Level 4 monster? And I don't see anything restricting you from having them both on the Field at the same time. Mind you, as overpowered as they are to start the Spell Card only makes them more so. You could balance things out more by removing the effect that says they cannot be negated, but since #1 is euql to a Level 4 with 3000 ATK and #2 is a Level 4 with 8000 ATK, I doubt anyone would want to play an opponent who has these in the Deck anyway. Apart from being a bit on the dark side (composition wise, they'll use a lot of ink when you print them), the pictures are fine. What bugs me picture-wise is there's little or no discernible difference between them, so I don't know how their effects should be any different between the two cards. Overpowed, Overruled, and for the sake of preserving the fun of the game, Forbidden. one could say. Oh, and 'that weird c thing' is the cent symbol. Why don't you just remove it and have the cards as "Izayoi Sakamichi 1" and "Izayoi Sakamachi 2?"
Chiri Tsukikawa
I realize that they are not balanced but they are based on this character. And isn't the "effect cannot be negated" part actually more balanced on the #2? And cards in Pop Culture Cards don't even have to be playable in the actual game. Xi-1
You don't have to look far to find examples of how other users have maintained balance while reflecting the characters being transformed into cards. I believe you can bring greater balance to your cards by reflecting their full abilities and stats in their Levels. In my opinion, #1 should be no lower than Level 8, while #2 should be Level 11 or 12 due to its high ATK. Unfortunately the balance you see in #2 gets counteracted by the support card you've created for it. I know Pop Culture Cards do not have to be balanced, be playable, or even use established Archetypes (although in the case of the templates on Yugico, they don't even let you make custom subtypes). I think it's more fun to try to make the cards playable so you can have more fun playing with them after you make them. It also annoys me somewhat that some people have this attitude that Pop Culture Cards don't have to measure up to the expectations of the other card sections, because I do not believe the cards created in a serious spirit are of any lesser value compared to the other cards. Naturally, as these are your cards, the choice of even whether to change them is entirely up to you.
Nicο
Just so you know, the character himself is massively overpowered. But lets see... I think... considering the Pop Culture rules... I agree that they can be made in anyway the card creator likes, and that they can probably be a bit more balanced as well. I did just kind of think "What the..." when I first saw them though, so even though it's technically accurate, and I did also want to say that it's the creators choice, it just doesn't look good. Xi-1
I'm fairly certain there's at least one card I've severely downpowered in each of my sets, just to make them more balanced. Can I just throw Doctor Strange, Discord (twice now), Luke Skywalker, and Evangeline A.K. McDowell in there for consideration as 'overpowered?' The thing that bugs me most about these cards is that #1 can do about 3000 points of damage and #2 has 8000 ATK, and they're Level 4 monsters, for which no tributes are required. The player just needs that one Spell Card to severely stomp his or her opponent. We may not be looking at a One-Turn Kill here, but I'm fairly certain it's fairly close. Chiri Tsukikawa
That is true. While I was able to make the effects resemble him, it doesn't mean they won't still if I change the levels. I think I will take your idea on increasing their Levels.
Xi-1
That does look more reasonable, although... is it Yugico that have the stars on #2 off-center? Bad Yugico! It just doesn't look nice, does it?

It just doesn't look nice, does it? No, no it doesn't. If I ever make a 12 star you can be sure it won't be on Yugico. ._. Looks better now though, yeah. Xi-1
Yikes, but that looks way off. Maybe it does that to discourage people from making Level 11 an 12 monsters, or maybe it's a general glitch. I make my cards here, since the Yugico templates are darker, and there's no guarantee the font will be large enough to read when I print them -- even if the spacing and sizing here is still a bit weird.
