Re-Tooled #1: Howling Terrorfang

This is the beginning of a new series, and it's going to be more of a 'when I feel like it thing' more than a daily thing, but I'm basically going through the Archives of my older cards from over the years and "re-tooling" them to get up to speed with the current Meta-game.  The one I chose to start with is actually only a few months old, but the relevance comes from the fact that it combos very well with a heavily-hyped monster, Diamond Dire Wolf.

 

Below is the effect of the original card:

So what made it broken? - Well, that part is simple, and I didn't choose this one because it allowed me a huge opportunity to "re-invent" it or anything, but obviously the first effect made it extremely easy to get simple pluses and constantly re-fill your field easily.  There were no restrictions and it worked well with not only Dire Wolf, but plenty of other cards too.

 

So what makes thie one better? - The new one takes on the "Wind-Up Shark" approach, in that you can only Special Summon it when a Beast-Type monster is Summoned.  That means right off the bat, you can't go and Special this, pop, search another, then Special another one.  On top of that, it gets banished upon leaving the field, so there's no constant loops you can do with it or anything else, especially because even if used as Xyz Material, it gets banished.

 

That being said, it's still a good card that has plenty of uses with Chidori and Dire Wolf, so I think I've found a good balance.

 

Anyway, I'd appreciate some Feedback and whatnot, although this is YCM and we're in RC so I don't expect much.
