Attempt at creating a new Solemn Counter Trap

Lore:

When a monster would be Summoned, OR if a Spell Card, Trap Card, or monster effect that includes an effect that Special Summons a monster(s) is applied or attempts to be resolved: Banish 1 Spell Card, Trap Card, and monster in your Graveyard; negate the Summon, activation, or effect, and if you do, return that card to it's owner's hand. Cards with the same name as the card negated by this effect cannot be activated until your 2nd Standby Phase.

 

Pros: This card should be able to negate cards that Solemn Warning can't negate, such as Geartown, Vallhalla, Infernity Launcher, etc.

 

Cons: This card could be an easy set-up or not depending on the deck structure.

Cons: You can't use the card that's negated this way either.

Cons: You will see the card negated soon...

 

So...how is it?

So...how is it?

Well, I got to say, you're better at balancing than Konami ever was, however that also means it's hard to use and might not be very effective. While getting Spells and Traps into your Graveyard, not all decks work with the Graveyard so much, and I know that there's a common joke going around that the Graveyard is your second deck, but only for some. But I like it, the fact that you can prepare your opponent's moves by now knowing the cards your opponent has. It also is balanced for your opponent as he might gain the card into their hand when they wouldnt have, either to reuse it again for certain Spells and Traps. I think adding "Spell or Trap is activated" as well would make it a bit better since I think the balance it has now is fine as it is, though if you feel that it shouldn't be as such, keep it as it is. The art is also kawaii <3

 

OCG seems find, just add "after activation" to the last part
