Does anyone else agree that there are some boring scenes in the book that they think should not be in the films' date=' such as the camping scenes, since they can fit loads in i feel they may include those boring bits.

true, but those are what make the movie exiting, believable and build the atmosphere which is why i would rather read the book ^_^.

Lets see, there are 7 books...

The Sorceror's Stone

The Chamber of Secrets

The Prisoner of Azkaban

The Goblet of Fire

The Order of the Phoenix

The Halfblood Prince

and the Deathly Hollows

they are thinking about planning the Deathly Hollows so that there are 8 movies. I think that they should just make a 4 Hour movie for the rest of the final two so they put in more from the books. They started getting crappy at the Goblet of Fire, that one went way to fast.

I personally think that the 3rd one was the best' date=' because it didn't have anything to do with Voldemort being the main bad guy, this time it was thought to be Sirius Black, but instead it was Peter Pettigrew.

Just a quick ? are you talking about the book or movie

I love the books but can't stand the films. There's way too much story omitted from them, especially the later movies. As for the split well it would be a nice idea because at least then there'll be less story left out (considering the last book is the most important, you wouldn't want to leave story out).

What about the Half Blood Prince? Is that being split?

They should have split OotP. I actually liked it best as a book, because Umbridge was HILARIOUS in her villainy (how can anyone be that evil and still be sane?!) and because we got to find out quite a bit about James' and Severus' school days (I always like to read about that). Philosopher's Stone was also great, becuase the writing style fit the content of the book so well. Harry Potter's universe works best as a light and humorous story, not a grim mystery.

Or atleast made OotP longer by a hour or so cause it was pretty short but yeah I gotta agree with you on Umbridge
